Do Re Mi POV
"There's a scandal with the two of you and the seven of us." Jinhwan's expression was uncanny, confused at how a slander began so fast, only meeting each other personally for a mere three days. Yeon Neul and I joined his eerie outrage as the words slowly sunk into understanding.
"H-how? I don't understand," She said, setting her chopsticks on the table. "Why us?"
"Hold on Donghyuk," He halted Yeon Neul's question, now speaking to the other through the phone. "I'll call you back." Hanging up on the latter, he started typing on his device, possibly searching for the scandal, seeing it for himself. "It says that a group of fans saw us meet at the coffee shop, and when we had decided to go to your house, they followed. Witnessing us walk into your home, they spied for a while until they saw the rest of iKON come over."
"Oh my god," I almost chocked on my food, surprised that there's such crazy people out there. "You call that fans?! I thought you called those stalkers."
"Well, they are pretty famous. Just be happy that they're not that famous yet. I heard that many 'fans' try to kill idols with food poisoning." My eyes widened as Jinhwan continued to read the article, cutting off our conversation.
"They said they had seen Re Mi with her brother, and then Hanbin dragging you away." My eyebrow lifted. 'Why the hell did he drag me away?' I thought, trying my best to retrace my memory from that night. 'Did he hear anything?!' I bit down on my lip, terrified that he might have found out about me. "It reads that they seen Re Mi being brought to our house and stood over night!"
"This is serious." Yeon Neul said, biting down on her nails as a habit. She always used to do that when she was nervous, though I haven't seen it in a while. She must be very anxious about this situation.
Putting my hand on top of hers, I pulled it away from her mouth and said, "Is that it?" He shook his head as Yeon Neul and I sighed.
"The last thing it says is that the night at the party, they sent in a spy to see if any of the YG artists were dating. Unfortunately, they had witnessed Hanbin pull you to an empty hallway and kissed you."
"WHAT?!" The couple looked at me with unbelieving eyes, though, they had no idea that I also couldn't seem to believe that.
"T-that must be a joke. He wouldn't k-kiss me." I stuttered, shaking my head. 'There's no way he would do that. He hates me.'
"Are you sure? Because there's a video, and it clearly shows that you two are kissing." He flips his phone around, letting me see the video. Then, I see it; B.I's hands cupping my face as he leans in, closing the centimeter distance between our faces. In the video, it's clearly showing his lips on top of mine as I just stand there, eyes wide open.
"I don't understand. Why would he do that?" I tilt my head as I became engulfed in my thoughts. 'How can this happen?'
"Maybe that's why you were drinking so much." Yeon Neul said in a matter of fact tone. My eyebrows scrunched up, wondering what exactly happened and why it did. "It only makes sense doesn't it?"
"How so?" Jinhwan asked, curious as to what she was hinting at.
"Well, Re Mi obviously doesn't like him, and it was her first kiss," Unknowingly, my cheeks heated up, now turning from my natural skintone to crimson red out of embarrassment. "So, of course she would feel awkward about it.
"When Re Mi is feeling like a situation is awkward, she starts to avoid things the best way she can." Yeon Neul continues on, talking as if she knew me inside and out; which, of course, she does. "I guess she knew that if she drank enough, she'll have an excuse to tell Hanbin that she forgot all about it, if he even meant it in the romantic way." Jinhwan nodded, now understanding what she meant.
