Nora POV

Mom I can't believe this but I do I might not know much about Faith but she won't lie to me not about something this serious. Right now we where walking to what I guess is Faith's house.

She was constantly whispering under her breath and then let a soft chuckle escape.

Talking to her self. No. Another ghost.

She turned after a minute and smiled.

" Bienvenue chez moi"

I wasn't stupid she was saying welcome to my home in some lauagaue. I smiled sheepishly and walked up the side walk of a nice looking town house. She took the keys out her bag and unlocked the door, everything felt in slow motion as she opened the door I felt so nervous. I didn't have any friends so I never been to anyone's house but mine.

She opened it to a living room her house so far was well furnished her living room had a nice sized tv brown furniture a nice rug under the couch and table and the floor was made of light brown wood.

"Papa" she called out going on the other side of the staircase where I saw a nice sized room. It was plain with a strange color of green walls brown crowning and the bed head was the same the room had a lamp table dresser and was clean with the bed made.

"Where is he" she breathed out to herself looking around the house.

I walked out the room and looked around the first floor on the support of the staircase there where pictures of a young couple, next a pregnant woman, the now aged cople with a little girl with blonde hair and a bright smile. Thease must be photos of her mother and parents. Skipping years ahead until the blond woman was grown and pregnant with a man with dark hair and a smile as he kissed the woman neck. Next one only of the woman and and a small child with a bright smile that I knew to be Faith.

I watched her age and smiled my family never had things like this, we had no photos of a happy family. I looked at the photo of Faith around eight her smile wasn't as bright she looked a little lost.

"That after my mother died"

"Why do you look so sad you can still see her right"

Faith shook he head is wanted to ask more but decided not to pry. Suddenly the door was opened and an old man stepped threw with a gun immediately fear took me. Faith saw my face and laughed.

"Nora this is grandfather don't worry he a hunter he won't shoot you"

Her grandfather raised an eyebrow and out his gun down extending his hand i hesitantly shook and we both stared at each other.

"Papa, Nora is going to be staying for a while."

He nodded "Should I call your parent"

I shook my head frantically my eyes wide, her grandfather turned to Faith with a raised eyebrow.

Faith gave him a look and he's smiled at me. "Welcome Nora help yourself to anything in the fridge,I don't cook much Faith usually in the kitchen. I'm a trained Hunter and I don't allow any boys in my house"

I looked to Faith who shook her head with a big smile.

"Speaking of dinner Faith"

She chuckled again "Just let me get Nora settled in and I start"

The man nodded his head and while Faith pushed me off up stairs I stopped half way.

"Excuse me but I didn't get your name"

He smiled "Just call me papa"

I smiled I never had a grandfather and nodded. Faith led me to the first room on the second floor.

"This is your room mines is down the hall and Papa down stairs. The bath room is in the second to the left and there always towels in there I'll let you use some of my clothes, and tomorrow we'll go get your stuff"
She turned to walk out but I grabbed her hand with a why look.

"It was mother dying wish not to mention where in this together"
I wanted to ask what she ment but deep down I already knew.

I tell her later on my gift is...

Faith POV

Papa sat in the kichen with a confused look I gave him the we need talk gaze and we weren't talking.

"Her mom I saw her she said odd, she said that she was like me she had gift. She said that death was coming, that soon all originals would drop one by one she mention you too. Care to tell"

I looked over my shoulder to see grandfather with wide eyes He then narrows them.

"Papa you keep a lot of secrets I know that very well but your life could be in danger... and I'm jot ready to see Your ghost"

"I went to limbo papa and I watched her mother get pulled into the sky a disappear, you owe me made an explanation"

He stayed quiet "I know I do but Your not ready for everything Faith not yet."

I opened my mouth to answer back but Nora presence lurking at the door caused me to stop, I looked to my grandfather and gave him a look. He sighed and I put a smile on my face. Pretending Nora wasn't there but we both knew she was after a few minutes she came in and the food was just about done.

I heard her inhale threw her nose and I smiled.

"I hope you like it no me but my grandfather and Justin have eaten my cooking"

"It smells great" She breathe and I smiled.

After making are plates I began our usual conversation telling my grandfather how boring my day was and how weird our mothers had the same favorite spot. My father them told him how he lossed his kill and ended going to the hospital. He fallen and I laughed about how clumsy he was.

Dinner was over and thankfully Nora had done the dishes Papa kissed me goodnight and walked off. I went upstairs to my room and feel on my bed.

My room with light purple walls with small black designs in the corners the bed has heavy black wood and purple comforter the rug was multi color had a white vanity the room a was bigger than I needed but, I loved it.

There was an knock on the door and I sat up yelling come in I say Nora and smiled.

"You need clothes sorry i forgot"

I got up and went threw my drawers "Anything specific" I didn't look up.

"No anything find"

Nora was skinner than me so my clothes would be a little big. I found a large shirt and decided it was fine it was Jack's.

"Amber remind me to burn this" I whispered.

I heard her laugh and turned to Faith her eyes looked deeply into mine.

I looked at her she was small and tall looking a lit like her mother, she actually really pretty if you look past the dingy and dull clothing.

I smiled at her and threw the shirt at her head I laughed a little as she pulled it off with a small smile.

"Thank you" she said "I probably at the bottom of the river because of you"

"Don't thank me thank the gift, I saw what you where feeling insane death creeping in your eyes my friend died she didn't deserve to I couldn't just let you kill yourself. "

"But still thank you" I smiled and she said goodnight I changed and walked to my bed sleep found me easily.
