Missing you

Chapter 9

Annie's POV
We arrive at Sydney's house and we knock on the door. Her mom answered. As expected she was surprised and started to cry. I decided to leave and give them some space. I started to walk home and notice Caleb walking beside me.
*C=Caleb
*A=Annie
C= "Annie I just came to wish you luck for your competition"
A="OH NO I completely forgot and now I only have an hour until I have to be there"
I look at my phone and realise that I have 7 miss calls from mom. I'm in BIG trouble
*10 minutes later
*M=mom
*A=Annie
M="ANNIE I'm glad you are home"
A="mom I'm sorry I lost track of time but we have to get ready for my competition quickly"
M="ok let's get started"
*10 minutes later
I'm all ready for my competition. My hair is done, I have my Leo on and I'm almost stretched out. We hop in the car and drive there and we had 40 minutes to spare. Just enough time to stretch. I have beam first.
I start with my press hand stand and nail it. Ok now for my 'dancing' bit ok done now for back handspring back walkover because my heel was hurting. Yay nailed it! Ok now for the lay out
Run
Cartwheel
Back tuck
I stuck the landing! Wow a score of 9.95!
Next is floor. I'm really nervous because I have been practising for ages so I have to nail it! I walk onto the floor area and wait for my music. I begin my first layout yay I stuck it. Ok now for the second layout. All of a sudden my knee buckled under pressure.
