(Sorry about the wait)
Spark was seriously debating jumping into the ocean by the time two guards finally spotted him from the top of the wall. The whole section went into full alert and then he was seriously considering impaling himself. He was dying of embarrassment anyways. The dragon had done this on purpose, he was humiliating him. What a great first impression he'd made on Dianite. Being slowly dragged by guards into his office is what he imagined, but once the guards got down to the beach he looked so lost and embarrassed that they decided he wasn't a threat.
Two guards were making their way towards him after walking out from a secured door in the side of the wall. One of the guards was dressed in what suspiciously looked like a ninja outfit. It was an absurd amount of different shades of red that clung to his skin with a dark hood hanging from the back. The guard himself looked young, maybe in his twenties. His brown hair was wild, obviously untamable. His eyes were a shocking red, not the whole thing, just his irises. The other was in plain leather armor and a red slash, probably to indicate some kind of position. His hair was somewhere between brown and ginger. Ginger stubble surrounded his mouth and covered his jaw line. He had plain brown eyes. The one in leather came up to him and held out a hand. Spark, being the genius he is, just stared at it. Noticing the lost expression Spark offered in return, the guard coughed to try to earn his attention. Spark suddenly shot up out of the sand, startling the guard in armor who then drew his sword and quickly pinned Spark to the wall, putting the dull side to his throat.
That got Spark talking.
"Pleasedontthedragondiditidontknowwhyhedidbuthedidandineedtotalktoyourgodbecauseimonaquestforsomeoneandpleasedontkillme!" He blurted it out so quickly that even he didn't understand. The guard growled and pushed on the blade harder, it was the dull side, but it still hurt. Spark let out a wine and was suddenly dropped. Confused, he looked up to see the guard doubling over in laughter while the one in leather was trying to hold back a giggle.
"Kai, why'd you have to scare the kid?" The one in leather said trying to keep from bursting out in laughter. All the feeling and emotion from the day suddenly came back to Spark in anger. He definitely was not a kid. He was a 28 year-old badass that was not going to lose it. His angry expression just made the guards laugh harder. The one named Kia composed himself and help Spark up, only to giggle at Spark's face, which held a very strong pout.
"Markus, tell the others it's fine. It's just-" He looked Spark up and down,"a stray." He declared, looking very pleased with himself. The one in leather, now named Markus, rolled his eyes and pulled out a sleek black metal tablet from a pouch on his back. Spark looked over the shoulder of Kia, expecting to see something carved into the metal, he gasped when he saw a piece of glass covering the top, which held words and images moving about rapidly. Markus looked up, chuckled, and started to walk back towards the doors.
"Kai, take him to Dia." He said looking back over his shoulder one last time.Once again, Spark was considering ending the embarrassment. Except this time he had the option to jump out a window. The guard, Kai, had led him to the door and through the wall into a giant open area with circles on the ground that had giant H's written in them. It must've been lunch because there were only a few workers sitting on boxes eating. He hadn't gotten a good look at them because they were far away, but they looked really short. After going through countless corridors, some empty and dark and some bright and filled with businessmen and...dwarves, they finally made it to the hall that Dianite's office was in. And just because Spark was so lucky, Dianite wasn't there, a very rare occasion. So Spark had to sit and wait in the office alone until he showed. Kai left him alone, obviously not seeing him as a threat, and this is when Spark considered jumping out of the the window, which, might I add, took up the entire back wall behind Dianite's dark oak desk and very comfortable looking spinny chair. The office had vaulted ceilings, ceilings, as in multiple, it's like a bunch of hollow pyramids with no bottoms up there. Stacked and layered. With a miniature chandelier. Anyways. The two side walls were just bookshelves that were twelve feet high. The only difference was that the right wall had a door leading to who knows where. The giant window wall had a small balcony that was nearly invisible to anyone not looking because it was lower than the floor inside, you could only see the railings. Two leather chairs sat in front of the desk, which was highly organized and had what looked like a panel in one corner. Spark was betting something was in there and would retract with the push of a secret button. The room had a reddish-brownish carpet that was surprisingly soft. A low, dark coffee table sat in the middle of the area and a white couch was on it's left, not pushed up against the wall, leaving walking space behind it. Kai had instructed him to sit in one of the leather chairs in front of his desk and wait. So that's what he did. There wasn't a clock in the room so he was left to watch the sun slowly set and moon rise.'If the God never left his office then why was he taking so damn long?' Spark thought glumly. It's been hours.
