Chapter 1

Narrator's POV

Flashback

It was just a normal day at the tower. But all of that changed when someone from Robin's past came.

"Guys, I want you to meet batgirl" Robin said.

"Hi little lady"

"Hello"

"Whatever"

"Hello dear friend" They all answered at once.

"She is visiting for a while, I'll just show her around the tower" Robin said.

Starfire secretly followed them. She saw Batgirl kiss Robin. And at that scene her world came crashing down. It was like her heart was being stabbed over and over again.

And I am feeling so small, it was over my head I know nothing at all

Tears flowed over her face. Tears that showed pain, sorrow, and hurt.

And I will stumble and fall, I'm still learning to love just starting to crawl

She ran to her room as fast as she could. She cried herself out until she had no tears left.

Say something I'm giving up on you...

Meanwhile...

"Why did you just kiss me!?" Robin said with a glare that could kill anyone on the spot.

"I wanted us to be together again" Batgirl spit back.

"Just leave me alone" He hissed.

"Fine, I'm out of here" Batgirl said.

Back to the present...

As Robin was walking down the hall, he heard Starfire talking to herself.

"Say something Robin..."

"Say what star?" he thought.

He immediately knocked on the door and it was opened. He saw Starfire's tear-stained face. He saw the sadness, anger, and hurt in her eyes.

"Star, what happened?" he asked.

"Oh, it's nothing Robin" Starfire said faking a smile.

"Look Star, I don't want to see you crying, getting hurt. It's because the truth is... the t-r-r-uth is..." he stammered. "It's now or never" he thought.

"The truth is I love you" Robin said feeling relieved like the weight over his shoulders is gone.

"Are you certain?" Starfire asked floating a little because of the joy she's feeling.

"Uhm... Yeah... Yes" Robin said

"Don't worry, I love you too" Starfire said.

And as they both lean in for a kiss, Starfire thought "Thank you for saying something Robin".

Say something, and I won't give up on you...
