The night was not at all silent
While the thunder stirred in the air
And wind wrapped around my body
Lightning shrieked and lit up the sky
Beside the stars of the night
Everyone was still, waiting for the end
The storm carried on and the rain poured down
While we stood up to dance
We skipped around the streets
Gripping each others hands
And a smile slid up
The corners of my mouth
We danced and danced
And we sang along to the voice of thunder
Because there I was right next to you
And there you were right next to me
Until the storm finally cleared up
And a rainbow revealed itself
To us
