Justin

I finished up my concert, jogging out to my dressing room. I closed the door behind me, plopping down on a chair.

I let out a big breath, feeling exhausted but energized, if you know what I mean.

It's just the adrenaline from performing.

I grabbed my phone from the mini-coffee table. A smile immediately creeped onto my face when the screen lit up.

Madison: Hey, you busy tonight?

I unlocked my phone, immediately opening her message.

Me: Wanna do something?

I got a text almost immediately. She's probably bored out of her mind sightseeing the Statue of Liberty.

Madison: .. if that's okay

Cute, she thinks I might say no.

Me: Wouldn't miss it for the world. ;-)

I didn't get a reply for a while, so I assume she either didn't read it, or just didn't know how to reply.

A few minutes of staring at her name, I finally got a message back.

Madison: Meet me at the Theatre, 20:00.

Ooh, she already planned a movie date for us...

She obviously likes you.

Madison: It's not a date.

Well shit.

Madison

I quickly sent the message, soon regretting it. He probably thinks I'm a bitch now. I only sent it in panic, I didn't want him to know that I like him.

I slid my phone into my pocket, pretending to write down notes on what Mr. Harvey was saying about the Statue of Liberty.

"Speaking to Justin, now, are we?" Kirsten whispered, smirking.

"Shut it." I whispered back.

"You smell different... It's a good smell though." She stated, sniffing me oddly. "So did he agree to the plan?" She queried, also pretending to write down notes.

"Yeah, he did. But we're ending it by Sunday." I said, becoming quite saddened.

Wait, why?

"I have an idea."

God, this never goes well.

"What is it now?" I urged, rolling my eyes.

"Patience, my child." She jokingly said, sounding like Yoda or something. "Try make him fall for you." She simply said.

Dafuq?

"Why would I do that?"

"I don't know, but whatever you think you have with Chris, isn't real. I hate to break it to you, but he doesn't even know your name, let alone, like you." She spoke, giving me her sincerest words.

It may have sounded harsh, but even I know it's true. I needed it, I needed to hear it from someone else, especially my best friend. I kept on denying it but I knew it was true.
