Chapter 6 ~ Aro Wishes For Power

Renessmee's POV

I screamed as Jake suddenly crumbled to the floor. "Nessie we know you can get Jacob to do what you want, just come with us and take a place on the throne." He said quietly as he came to stand in front of Jake. ''Get away from my Jake." I said looking into Jake's motionless eyes as I crouched down and pulled his limp body to me. Aro let me stay like that for a couple of minutes. Suddenly he was behind me grabbing me by my arms and pulling me up. "JAKE HELP ME!!" I yelled out of instinct as I did when anything or anyone unexpected touched me. "ALEC DID YOU STOP USING YOUR POWER!" I watched as everybody was snapping out of their trance and I looked down at Jake to see his eyes were blood red and the pupils were meerly dots. He got up and was growling as Aro let go of me and I ran into Jacob's arms. His eyes turned a lesser bright red. It all happened in a second as Alice tried to talk Aro into leaving. Suddenly he had her in a head lock and Unca Seth was behind him with the same blood red eyes taping Aro's shoulder. As he turned Seth said, "My imprint, my turn!" Then he punched Aro and his head was knocked halfway off, as Alice was dropped and she ran into Seth's open arms. "Leave now Aro, Jake and Nessie are not going with you," Carlisle calmly said as Aro set his head back on to his body. "Fine, but if you two have a hybrid, it's ours if it imprints on somebody from another coven that wants to destroy us." Jake and I growled at him. "You don't control if you get our kids, alright Aro, so shut up and leave before I'm the one to completly tear you and your protector, plus alec!" Jake said as Aro stormed out at the threat of being completly torn apart, his lackey's followed. I looked at Jake as his eyes went back to their normal color, plus Uncle Seth's. "You two need to get going if you want to get to the airport in time." Alice said as she got us in place and we walked out. Rice was thrown at us, a few of which hit us hard enough, that I knew it was the wolves and Emmett. It stopped as we got into the car and were taken to the airport. "Jake, what was that when Aro grabbed me? Why'd your eyes turn red and Alec's power stop?" "That was a thing called Protection Mode. It happens when an imprinter's imprint is in danger, real life, this could kill them or hurt them danger. Now you were always in danger when Aro and his lackeys were around, but it snapped when you called for help. See any powers being used against the imprinter are broken completely, they cannot be used again......Does that explain it Ness?" "Yes I think I get it. When I'm in real danger nothing is gonna stop you from getting to me and protecting me." I said as I laid my head in his lap and kinda laid down in the car. "You're very much correct Nessie. I love you Nessie." Jake calmly said "I love you more Jakey." "You can never love me as much as I love you." He said as I smiled. I was jostled when he quickly pulled me into his lap and my head was sitting between his shoulder and neck. I quickly bit his neck playfully, accidently swallowing about a half mouthful of his blood. "Sorry Jake." I looked into his eyes and he smiled. "I heal Nessie. I've probably replenished what you drank, so don't worry." I smiled and pushed him back into his seat. "So I could sit here and you be the main course and you would heal?" "Yes, but wouldn't that be a little weird drinking me? First of all I'm half animal and half human, so wouldn't that be a weird taste? Second, ehh I really don't have a second because even if you did drink me, my body would replenish my blood supply before you drank all of me." I looked at the faint pink bite mark I made on his neck, "Does it hurt when I bite you?" "No, not really. It actually feels good because my body starts healing and that gives me a sense of ahhhhh." I smiled knowing I never hurt him. 

Seth's POV 

Alice and I watched as Jake and Nessie drove off. "Seth will you stay with me tonight, please?" Alice said looking into my eyes. "Of course Alice." We stood there for a moment. As we pecked each other on the lips I heard, "WHAT THE HELL SETH!!!!!" I quickly turned around, pulling Alice with me, to see Leah standing there in a huff. "I imprinted on Alice, Leah. Get with the program." I said smiling as Alice giggled. "And it's not like I can un-imprint, so just calm down." "Leah, dear, just calm down, Seth can take care of himself. He can't have you looking after him for the rest of his life." My mom said as she walked up behind Leah. "Fine mom." Leah huffed and I properly introduced my mom to Alice. The wolves quickly dispersed after giving me congratulations on finally imprinting. They also thanked me when they figured out I wouldn't be blabbing about the pull, but immediatly took it back when they figured I'll be talking about Alice whenever I was not with her.. Edward hugged me and congratulated me on imprinting. Bella hugged and congratulated Alice on getting imprinted on and that now she'll stop moping all the time. Then they reversed and did the same thing the other did. Then, thankfully, the rest of the Cullens decided on going hunting, leaving me and Alice alone. As soon as Emmett had had his last crack of being annoying, Alice pulled me up to her room and shut the door. I pulled her to the bed quickly and laid down beside her. "Seth, I love you." "I love you more." I started kissing Alice as I pulled off my undershirt and threw it onto the floor. I thought it was Alice who had grabbed my stomach and thrown me into the wall. "Alice why'd you do that?" I said, rubbing my head as it set and healed. "It wasn't her, you idiotic, stinking mutt." said a voice that sounded very familiar. I looked up and saw Jasper.
