She sat there silently crying on the log. It was nighttime, the full moon was out and the stars were shining beyond belief. She sobbed uncontrollably. She couldn't hold her secret in any longer, she had to tell someone. Just as she opened her mouth, the wind blew and she whispered her secret. Relief swept over her as the wind changed direction and she heard the winds swift promise to never tell. She smiled, thanked the wind and slept peacefully.
The next day as she was walking down the city streets she saw a troubled teenager sitting at the bus stop, she was crying silently and trying to hide her face. She went over and sat next to the girl on the bench. She was nervous at first to talk to her remembering how she felt about taking others advice on telling her secret. She dismissed the thought, sat up straighter and said with total confidence, "Tell the wind your secret, all you have to do is tell the wind and she will always listen, protect, guide, and save you and your secret from harm or the wrong people knowing. Although she might tell it to somebody else to help them understand they are not alone."
