Seattle is sitting alone
at a lunch table in the far left corner.
I would like to sit with her, but she doesn't know me and would probably think I'm weird. Also, it would be awkward. Mathew, my good friend , urged me to go sit with her but I just cant.
For the rest of lunch
Seattle said nothing to no one. The bell rang and Seattle waltzed out. But when she left she forgot her lunchbox.
I laughed to myself. Who goes to lunch and forgets their lunchbox? Obviously, Seattle. I went over and grabbed it for her.
When I went to give
if back to her, she wasn't anywhere near me. I guess I could leave it in her locker.. Approaching her locker, Iam oblivious to my surroundings, so when Seattle stormed into the hallway, I didn't realize I was causing her more anger by trying to pick her locker code. She yelled at me, "WHO ARE YOU??"
I pointed to myself. "Yes, you! Are you trying to pick my locker??!!" She answered angrily.
But her words didn't
quite register, because I'm too busy being captivated by her eyes. No normal color they be, nope. Seattle's eyes are murderous red.
At first, I thought I
was seeing things. No. Her eyes are red. But, personally, I think it goes well with her abnormal hair.
Seattle's voice snapped
my mind back to where my body stood. She seemed to have calmed down a bit. "Here, you left it in the lunchroom." I handed her the lunchbox. Seattle blushed and took it from my hand. I smirked at and introduced myself , "Hello, I'm Carlisle.." I held out my hand for her too shake, but she never did. She told me, " I don't shake hands." "Nice to meet you 'I don't shake hands' is that your first or last name?" Seattle glared at me while blushing again. "I'm Seattle." I replied, "I know."
Seattle unlocked her
locker and shoved her lunchbox in. I asked, " Which class do you have next"? Seattle tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear. "English.. You?" She answers. "Same." I told her.
We scampered to English
together. Seattle sat in the back as did I. Mrs. Locksridge is droning on about Leonardo Da Vinci.
I scooted over to Seattle and whispered, " So why'd you move here?" She cleared her throat and glanced at me, long enough for me to notice the thick makeup all around her eyes. She answered, " Well.. Uhm.. I got bored at my old school." I nodded at her.
As soon as the bell rang,
Seattle ran out. Did I make her uncomfortable? Stupid, Carlisle. "Hey, darling.." Harper said in a seductive tone. I rolled my eyes and told her, "I'm not your darling." She whined as I brushed past her.
" 1, 2, 3, everybody
loves me." I hummed quietly to myself. "Do you always sing Britney Spears?" Seattle asked me. She smiled at me for the first time. I smirked to myself. I finally found her imperfection. Her crooked teeth.
