Prologue
"RUN! RUN! RUN! You will never catch me!!!" I screamed as Jason chased after me. "You wanna bet on that little missy?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me up off the ground. I kept running but that only lead to disaster. We toppled over into a huge tangled mess. I looked into his big brown eyes and I saw him staring into mine. We leaned in close and I felt the impact of his lips on mine. They were sweet and soft. I opened my eyes and pulled away. It was a great kiss. The year went on and we were side by side it was our last year at our junior high school, Middletown junior high school. We were going to different schools we already knew it, but we were living in the moment and happier than ever. The last day of school came and I never even saw Jason that day. My brother had just gotten home from Afghanistan where he was fighting. He was picking me up from school so we could catch up on the three years we lost. That was the last day I ever saw Jason.
