Kehlani' POV

" dude stop you'll be fine " I say to Naomi we're currently at auditions for a music video me and Naomi have been dancing since we were 4 so hopefully this goes good .

"Naomi Riveras "says the speaker and she gets up "good luck " I say and hug her before she leaves

I sit back down and take my phone out and go on my snapchat
I have two new snaps one from Dylan and one from Mackenzi  .

I open Dylan's because he's my brother so why not . It's a picture of him saying "call me !" I scrunch my eyebrows in confusion and call him

" hey what's up " I say as he answers

" hey so um some friends are coming back in town and they wanted me to pick them up can I borrow your truck " he asks

"What happened to your car " I say

" they won't fit in my car " he says in duh tone
"Fine just don't do anything to it " "the keys are in my top drawer " I say and hang up

"Oh my god I did it ! I didn't mess up" says Naomi as she gets out of the dance studio
"Good job now we just have to wait for them to put the paper up" I say and hug her

"They're not going to post it for like another three hours wanna go grab something to eat " she asks
I nod" yeah where though " I ask as I grab my duffle bag

"Let's go to panera bread ?" She asks

" yeah come on it's only like ten minutes away we can walk "I say and she nods

" have you heard the news yet " she says as I open the door so we can get out of the building
"Which one " I say

"The Omaha boys are coming back " she says as we start walking down the street

" as in the jacks and Sammy and Nate ?" I ask I haven't seen them in a while

" yeah rumor is that they'll be going to college with us too" she says

" why" I bluntly say as you can tell I don't like them well Jack Gilinsky to be exact . We used to be friends until he decided to kiss me . I was five for crying out loud! I wanted my first kiss to be when I was older and with my first boyfriend but no my first kiss was under a table while we were practicing our fire drill at school.
We were squaring down under our desk and he was my desk partner so we got under the table and we ended up facing each other and then bam ! His lips were on mine before I could even process what was going on the teacher saw us and took a picture . A picture that sits in my living room hung up on the wall. We didn't talk much after that our parents did but we didn't I hate shim so much you could see it in my eyes .

" hello ? Kehlani did you hear what I said ?" Says Naomi shaking me away from my thoughts

" oh yeah I was just thinking " I say and she smiles
"Hey keh you can tell me anything ok I keep all our dark secrets remember " she says and looks at me

" it's just I don't really want to see Jack " I say
" you have no idea how many girls would kill to be in your spot. " she says with a smile
"Come on keh were here " she says
I look up and see that we are here .

"Loosen up Keh " she says and I decide to let it go . After we order we go and wait for our food we find a table next to the window .

" I know when that hotline bling" my phone starts ringing and I can see Naomi laughing at my ringtone

" hello" I say as I see its Dylan

" hey sis so um we might've crashed" I hear him say but I know he's joking because they're laughing in the background

" I don't have time for you games what do you want " I ask loosing my patience

" sorry . I was just telling you there's a party tonight to welcome back the guys I wanted to see if you were up for it " he asks
"Dyl I have Auditions till 5 today but ok just keep my baby safe " I say and hang up

I look up to that our food is at our table now

" so Naomi there's a party tonight wanna come with me " I ask her as I eat some of my soup

" yeah totally , but who's " she asks as she sips on her coke

" it's for some of his friends that are coming back into town today I don't know " I say

Her mouth drops and she look at me weird
"What" I ask her
"Keh that party is for the Jack and Sammy and Nate " she says and I slap my forehead how the fuck did I not figure that out

" ew now I have to disinfect my car" I say and roll my eyes

"It won't be that bad come on" she says and smiles

This is why I love my bestfriend .

I have group of friends . Theres Naomi my favorite , there's Mackenzi , Ali, and Laci . The boys in our group are Dylan ( my twin ) , Mason, Logan , Connor , Danny, Owen, and Aiden .

We've been a group since we were in kindergarten the jacks and Sammy and Nate were in it for a while until they left .

After we finish our lunch we head back to the dance studio to wait till all the auditions are over .

" hey Keh? What are you wearing tonight?" She asks as we sit on the stairs outside the building
" I have no clue maybe that black dress I got at urban outfitters remember ?" I ask and look at her

"Yeah that's pretty oh my god Sammys going to be there " she says and a frown appears on her face

" what exactly happened between you two " I ask her as I put my phone away

"The night before he left remember how they threw a party? Well I was in the bathroom and he came in because Lyla was trying to make out with him so he locked us in the restroom and he was saying sorry and I was washing my hands and then I turned around to dry them and he kissed me and then he started saying things and then we snuck out of the restroom and went to his bedroom I lost my virginity to him Keh ! To Sammy out of all people him ! I fell in love with him after that night but to him I was just a one night stand " she says as she cries into my embrace .

" Naomi listen ok tonight were gunna show Sammy what he's missing and he's going to feel sorry he ever left you ok because he's an ass ." I say as I hug her

"Thanks Keh I really don't know what I'd do with out my bestfriend " she says and smile wiping away some tears

"Since Pre-school" I add and let out a laugh
"And forever " she says

" so are you excited for this gig " I ask her changing the topic

" hell yeah I'm so ready to finally start dancing" she says and I laugh

" how much longer " I ask and she pulls out her phone
" it should be up now " she says and we head inside and yup there's a lot of other teenagers here crying there asses off.

I head over to the list on the wall and look for our names

"We made it !" I say and see Naomi crying from joy

" I know beb oh my god were definitely drinking tonight come on let's go get ready " she says and pulls me to the street again

" ugh this hair irritates me !" She says and throws her keys at me causing me to raise an eyebrow at her

" please beb I don't feel like driving she says as she puts her hair in a messy ponytail
" fine fine " I give in and hop in the drivers side

" how much time you spent at the mall " I sing

"All day nigga " sings Naomi joining me

Through out the ride we get weird looks from people in their cars.
And of course Naomi flipped them off.
