"Hello?"
"Hi, it's Zoe." Zoe had gotten Zach's mums number the day before.
"Oh, yeah, sorry I forgot....they have plastered his arm and leg and it turns out it wasn't a cut on his head....it was from his step-dad. But he still hit his head and has the risk of brain-damadged and being paralysed. Other than that no updates."
"Okay, is he still in coma?"
"Yeah, I'm afraid, they said to speak to him so I told him what happened and about his step-dad....he won't wake up.....we don't really know him anymore, he's not 10 any more....we have run out of ideas..."
Zoe knew Zach must have been telling the truth about his parents. "Maybe you could put him in contact with his father?"
"We can't...he passed away....he had a heart attack when he heard...He was 50....he is only 10 years older than me..."
"Oh....I'm sorry....now I'm stuck....unless?"
"Thanks...unless what?"
"Do you know the password for Zach's laptop?"
"No, but I have one why?"
"Does it have Skype?"
"No, but I think I could do webcam, why?"
"I have an idea, but could you ask the nurse if laptops are allowed in...it's for a good cause. How long has he been in the coma?"
"Two months....yes they are allowed for special causes but I don't know how do do anything webcam wise..."
"Could you ask a nurse or someone and get them tomorrow?"
"Someone knows how, she's called Rose, she's Zach's nurse she said her boyfriend Robbie can do it. They are both emo goth things."
"Awesome tell them thanks and at 6pm we can begin...hopefully you will get him back...when he wakes up can you tell him to do as the nurses say otherwise I won't Skype him when he gets diagnosed properly?"
"Yes if it means I will have my son back again and I will start to pay more attention to him....I will ask where he wants to move to."
"Ok speak tomorrow?"
"Ok."
Zoe hung up, she couldn't believe 2 months had gone. But on the good side she could have Zach back. Wait have Zach? She never had him....she supposed love did strange things to your head....
