The Bad Boy I Didn't See Coming

Chapter 2:

Kaitlyn's POV

It's lunch time finally. I enter the cafeteria and hear Alex coming with her boyfriend Mark, "Hey Kaitlyn" Mark says as they sit down with me at our table with their lunch.

"Hi" I respond with a smile and look to Alex who is smiling wide at Mark. "You okay there Alex?" I ask her so she gets out of her trance

"W-what?" she asks blushing while Mark and I laugh. Suddenly I see Calum walk in and groups of girls start to huddle together talking about him. I roll my eyes thinking to myself like any of us have a chance with him and look back to Mark who is waving his buddies over.

"Hey guys" Mark says as Lee, and Cade sit down. Lee sits next to me and looks me up and down

"Well aren't you looking fine" While putting his arm around me. I glare up at him and get his arm off of me.

"Get off Lee" I say put he does it again "Lee I said stop!" I say again a little louder and he puts his hands up in surrender.

"Sorry Hun I just don't know if I can resist you" he says smirking and I send him another glare. Mark and Cade finally step in getting him to stop.

"Dude that's enough" Cade says switching him spots. "hey there's a party tonight ya'll coming?" he asks looking around.

"Count me in" Mark and Lee say together then look at Alex who nods.

"Only if Kaitlyn comes" she smiles and laughs a little. Everyone suddenly looks at me "Common Kaitlyn" she says again.

"Okay fine" I finally say and Alex smiles

"So that's it party with all of us, I'll pick everyone up?" Mark asks as everyone agrees with a nod. Alex looks at me

"Your coming over and getting ready at my house" she says with a smile. I just say okay and the bell rings for the rest of school day that I'm ready to be over already.

Right after school I go to meet Alex outside, not paying attention to where I'm going I trip over something on the ground. My face comes inches from the ground when I feel a strong arm wrap around my waist pulling me back up and facing them. "You okay there sweetheart?" Calum says his arm still around my waist.

"yeah, I'm fine" I say with a smile "Y-you going to the party tonight?" I ask him as I can feel the heat rushing to my cheeks as his hand slides off my waist. He rubs the back of his neck then runs his fingers through his hair.

"I was thinking about it." he laughs a little. Suddenly Alex finds me and starts talking but stops.

"Well hello" she says to Calum as he laughs again "I'm Alex, this chicks best friend" then she laughs.

"Calum, and you have a nice best friend, she's awesome" he says as I can feel my cheeks get warm again. Mark walks out with Cade and Lee. I see Lee and roll my eyes as he puts his arm around me.

"Would you not?" I ask him glaring at him. He just pulls me closer and tries to kiss my cheek and I try to move away. "Lee stop" I say getting annoyed. I feel a strong hand on my shoulder and then moves to Lee's.

"She said stop" I hear Calum's deep voice say frustrated. Feeling Lee move away and Calum's hand on my middle back. I feel safe as he does. why is he being so protective? I ask myself but not wanting it to end.

"Hey I'll meet you at your house okay Alex" I say looking at her and Calum's hand still on my back.

"Okay but be there by 5" She says with Marks arm around her and everyone follows them leaving only Calum and I. I roll my eyes again

"god he drives me crazy" I tell Calum with a soft smile.

"Yeah well I can see why" he says chuckling a little and smirking "do you need a ride home or to Alex's?" He asks. He's giving me a ride?!?! I think to myself

" kinda but if you can't it's " he interrupts me by grabbing my hand and dragging me to his bike. Having on his leather jacket and handing me a helmet.

"Better me than you sweetheart" he says as he starts it and lights a cigarette as it warms up. After a few minutes he balances the bike and puts up the kick stand "hold on tight" he says as he takes off. My body pressed against his back as he rides to Alex's.

As we get there he puts the helmet back in storage and smirks at me as I look at him "what?" He asks

"Oh nothing, just um thanks" I say putting my hair behind my ear "see you at the party?" I ask. He nods in return and I walk inside Alex's hearing him ride away. "Alex!" I yell at the top of my lungs as I walk in and then hear footsteps running down stairs. 

"Your late" Alex says with her hands on her hips. 

"Sorry but I'm here now" I smile innocently as she scoffs then drags me upstairs and sits me down in a chair and starts on my makeup. She puts me in jean shorts, and a crop top paired with converse. 

"My masterpiece" she says in a horrible Italian accent then laughs. Alex already being ready for the party we hear honking and yelling from outside. 

"Sounds like its time for us to go" I laugh and follow her down to the car. We all pile in and head to the party.
