✧*。 02; BALLET AND BLUSHES 。*✧
   ー fleur and harry.

it was not unusual to find harry out alone in brussels on a chilly sunday night, but you might not have guessed that he'd be at a ballet. He was in his best gold and black suit ready to see Coppelia. Harry was a very optimistic boy and he found that things like art and ballet and the opera calmed him. It brought a sort of sense of peace to mind where he could be at one with himself. So here he was. It was only 6:04pm when the lights of the theatre dimmed down and a hush fell over the crowd indicating the start of the ballet. A few petite dancers twaddle two and fro onto the stage and it began.

Harry was enjoying himself much so when about forty five minutes into the show, when he looked around carelessly, his eyes caught onto someone about sixteen seats down from him. There, right in the very same atmosphere was the girl from the art museum. Even in the dark Harry found her  wearing a black silk slip dress and a fluffy bubblegum pink faux fur coat. Her hair was down and curled in soft waves, and a velvet chocked adorned her neck. For the ballet it was rather edgy yet somehow still effortlessly elegant.

Harry sucked in his cheeks and began ferociously chewing on his gum letting a little smirk appear. He would admit that since three and a half weeks ago when he had last seen her, he had thought about her here and there. The girl herself turned her gaze upwards and around the theatre making its way in Harry's direction. The brown haired boy sat up straighter and waited until final her vision landed on him. She just stared for a moment before her lips parted in a soft shocked smile. She then, he could even tell in the dark, blushed and looked down at her feet and then back up to him.

For the rest of the performance Harry could hardly concentrate. Her glamorous looks and soft aura wrapped his mind and she was all he could think about. In fact, as soon as the dancers took their final bows two hours later, Harry stood up and looked back. The crowed poured out in a clamor of conversation of later plans, or the excellently of the ballet or whatnot. It took a while for Harry to reach the lobby, but when he finally was there he waited by a column. He practically stood on his tippy toes looking amongst the crowd. Until finally.

A tall figure emerged and Harry looked up quickly. He straightened himself up and waited until she noticed him. When he did she whispered something into the war of a man before making her way over. "Well I suppose you haven't been stalking me since the day in the museum have you," she questioned jokingly. Harry blushed a tad and chuckled. "You can't blame a man for loving the ballet," he shrugged. She giggled lightly herself and nodded. She examined him with a smile remembering how clever and poetic he had been in the art museum, loving how his demeanor hadn't changed.

"I mean, I don't think it would be quite proper go stalk you. We hadn't even gotten each other's names," he pointed out. She nodded knowing that was true. "I'm Fleur," she introduced extending a hand for Harry to shake. "And I'm Harold. But I swear to you no one ever calls me that so I probably should have just started with Harry right off the bat," he returned muttering off. The now identified Fleur nodded and smiled. Harry let a little smile filled with imagination creep upon his lips as he eyed her.

He realized he was always examining her one way or another but that he wasn't even trying to. His eyes were just drawn to her it seemed. And without even thinking about it, he figured the only right decision to make next would be to open his big fat mouth and ask, "Excuse me if this may be alarming considering I am practically a stranger; but would you maybe take a stroll with me?" Fleur looked up ever so softly and smiled. "I would be delighted," she said in the prettiest tone. So Harry held out his arm, which she took, and lead her out of the crowd and into the dark night.

They began walking down a cobblestones walkway besides the water in the cool night of Brussels. Silence settled over them but it wasn't awkward. They just stared out at the water over the grail and let soft sighs and hums be their words of conversation. Or at least until Harry spoke up. "Now I don't suppose it was a coincidence that I have seen you twice now. Or is that cliche ? I suppose only skinny, wide eyed, stargazing, romantics use that logic," he answered his own comment. The girl chuckled a tad. "Well I happen to be a skinny, wide eyed, star gazing romantic. So I guess I would have to say that maybe it's not a coincidence," she shrugged.

"Or maybe; two people who both enjoy art and the ballet happen to buy tickets to the same show at the same time and run into one another," she then contradicted. Harry nodded. He had considered this as well. That was his conclusion of course. But when he looked down and caught Fleur's eyes, he felt as if those were eyes that were full of lust and life and dreams. Those were eyes that saw life as a dream. Eyes that knew that things were never just coincidences. They were eyes that Harry, in a short twenty minutes, had been lost in and swirling around in.

He was snapped back into reality when she had pointed out a dead flower floating in the water. "It's so beautiful," Fleur sighed looking at the drifting daisy. Harry thought dead things couldn't be beautiful. They were dead. Lifeless. They were the absence of beauty. But even so he nodded softly and said, "Indeed it is." It was miraculous that he had seen a glimmer of beauty in something he had always seen as, well, dead. But it seemed that soon he would find she would have him questioning the whole universe itself and all the stars.
