March 20th. Gemma's wedding day had finally rolled around.
Not much had changed between Louis and Harry, besides the fact that Louis was now a year older. Harry kind of gave him a birthday and Christmas gift all in one. Louis had thought Harry had forgotten his birthday. He didn't say happy birthday to him, he didn't even get him a card. He let Louis go to work as normal while he was on his day off. Louis had parked his car on the side of the street when he got back from work, seems as there was another car parked outside their house with a cover over it. He didn't really think anything of it though.
He was a little apprehensive to open the front door and see who was in there with Harry, surely it couldn't be good. When he got inside, the room was pitch black. That was all before Louis felt Harry cover his eyes with a scarf and kiss his cheek whispering 'happy birthday baby' and leading him back into the coldness of the crisp winter air.
On the count of three, Harry took the cover off the other car and Louis took the scarf off. He couldn't believe Harry. A new Audi R8 in white, with a large red bow on the front was sat on their drive. A banner across the front read 'happy birthday Lou'. Louis couldn't pick his jaw up off the floor. He was gob smacked that Harry had brought him a car. He couldn't talk really; just fall weak at the knees only for Harry to catch him.
Christmas was good too. Their first Christmas together couldn't have gone any better. They invited both of their families around for Christmas dinner. Every one was a little expectant of Louis to cook, but Harry cooked- seems as Louis' cooking wouldn't exactly be edible.
Their mothers got along like a house on fire. They may as well have been long lost sisters. The Christmas tree stood tall and beautifully decorated, much to Louis' sister's likings. Presents were exchanged and goofy Christmas music played softly as everyone played board games and laughed together. Best Christmas ever, Harry would say.
New year was amazing for them too. They had been together almost a year. It didn't seem that long really, it had all gone so quick. A lot had happened since they first started dating though, good and bad, but they couldn't be happier. Again, they were in their house surrounded by friends and family as the new years party flowed well. It was nice, having everyone get on so well and laugh together, wishing away the year.
But Harry was pretty sure all's Louis could remember was, let's say, saying hello to the New Year with a bang. And no, they didn't have fireworks.
And of course, not to forget, Louis had recently finished the few month of taking his medication. He was so glad Harry never found out. Now it was down to science to work its magic.

Gemma was nervous. Everyone was inside and Harry was about to walk his sister down the isle. It was a weird feeling, Harry doing this instead of his dad. Never the less, the music started to softly play and Harry walked Gemma down the isle. She looked stunning, beautiful really. All eyes were focused on the way her smile shone as she saw her soon to be husband standing at the alter.
James was a nice guy in Harry's opinion. He treated her like a princess and that's all Harry could ask for. Sure, they had arguments but doesn't every one? He had short brown hair and hazel coloured eyes, nearly standing as tall as Harry, but a little shorter. He carried himself well, a professional air about him, but still he was quite goofy and funny.
Saying Harry felt a little strange when he let Gemma go was maybe an understatement. He was kind of sad to be giving Gemma away, but he was also happy she was starting her life. But then there was the Louis aspect of it. He was sat on the row, where Harry was heading to take his seat. Why did he have to wear a white suit? The trousers were tight around his thighs, his blazer hugging his small waist. Harry had to certainly try extra hard to focus on his sister getting married.
