*Autumn and Kadijahs dance studio in MM above🆙🔼*

Kadijah POV

Autumn and me had went over our mini hip hop dance routine for the kids. We danced to Don't by Bryson Tiller and it was all coming together. Our teenager group would be performing it for a mini concert next week for their parents to come see. After we had finished and kids were rushing out I went over to one of my students Reese. She was 12 and one of my best students. Her Dad was late yet again. I felt sorry because she was a good dancer and she didn't deserve to be neglected an abandoned like this😕.

"Hay Reese, you ok."
She shook her head no
"My daddy said that he would pick me up on time and he lied.....AGAIN. Like is there something wrong with me, does he not want me or something."
She began to cry and I hugged her and she embraced it.
"Ssssh Reese it's ok I'm sure he loves you. His mind just isn't where it's supposed to be."
I began to explain to her and she felt better. I gave her a snack from my dance bag and let her wait in the office for her dad when Autumn walked in."

"Dijah!!!! Omfg come here." She yelled
Wtf she yelling for. I thought
Reese and I walked out to see a white lady who wore a formal skirt and jump suit and some Loubottons heels. She stood next to a man who looked familiar but I couldn't point him out.

"Hello are you Kadijah Pope." The lady asked
"Yes and whom may be asking." I said with confusion
"We'll my name is Mrs. White and this is my client Mr. Tiller and we've seen some of your routines online and would you and Autumn Pierce here to audition to go on tour with Mr. Tiller for 2 months."

Tiller, Tour I thought this beside her hadn't said anything. I was confused at first to who he was but this was the one and only Bryson Tiller I loved his album T R A P S O U L. So, of course I was thinking on accepting this great once in a lifetime opportunity.

Only one problem how was I going to go if Autumn and me go who's going to watch Hayden. I'm definitely not leaving him with our bitch ass father for 2 months.

"Ok I will think about it." I responded back.
I noticed Autumn facial expression when I said think as if she was like what's your problem but I ignored it.

"Okay we'll here's my card call me so I can email you or text you the video of the dance routine you will be doing during auditions. There in 4 weeks. I hope I can do business with you." She handed me the card
"Thank you" I said with a smile.

"Your welcome Bryson here loved your dance moves and wanted to get you on his crew." Mrs. White told us
I blushed and Bryson looked at Mrs White annoyed.

I chuckled and shook hands with Bryson and they left. I could've sworn I saw him wink at me but I brushed it off.

I turned around and rolled my eyes already knowing what Autumn was going to say.

"What do you mean you'll Think about it." She said furious.
"It means exactly what I said Autumn I can't just up and leave for 2 months since Hayden and I are staying at your place who's gonna watch him if both of us make auditions. Because you and me know my father is not a option. I caught my breath realize I was yelling and grabbed my bottle of water out my bag and sat down.

"First of when we make auditions." Autumn replied putting emphasis on the last part making me chuckle at her cockiness.
"And we'll find somewhere for Hayden trust me it's gonna be ok." She added and walked over and hugged me.

"Mhm ok whatever." I said

She walked off and mumbled "Stubborn ass."
I heard that and I heard laughter coming from her.

I walked back over to Reese and her father had finally arrived. He smelt like weed and alcohol. She ran up to him happily and he kissed her cheek.
"Ummm Reese I'm going to speak to your Dad for a second."
She nodded ok and I pulled him away from Reese.
"Mr. Jones you need to get your shit together and be on time for your daughter. Coming in here smelling like cheap perfume and weed. Reese was crying over you thinking that you don't want her. I don't blame her. Now you can step up and be a father or I'll call CPS your choice." I said angrily
"Bitch wtf are you." He said slurring his words
"I'm the bitch look at who's talking you walk around her with your I'm the shit head ass. When really you just a punk. Get cho bob the builder looking ass up outta here. Forehead strong af bout to knock my ass over. If you late for Reese again it's gon be a foot up your ass an I'm taking Reese to raise myself since you not tryna be there for her."

He mumbled some words and walked off and got Reese.
"Bye Mr. Jones."
He lifted up his middle finger and I laughed.

Autumn came over laughing she must've hear what I said.
"You sitting here roasting peoples parents you wrong for that Dijah and you know it." She said

"We'll he need to get his shit together." I said
After 30 minutes we finished locking up and went to pick up Hayden from after care. Autumn drove past our dad's apartment and he wasn't there so we snuck in an grabbed some of our stuff and I explained to Hayden how we would be staying here for a while. Surprisingly we got everything tonight and rode over to Autumns condo. As soon as we got there I crashed on the sofa and fell into a deep sleep. I finally felt free from My Dad.
