Chapter 23

Diana's P.O.V

I was pretty surprised to hear a knock on my door. "Um, Mom? Can I call you back in a little? Someone's knocking on the door and I need to see who it is." I spoke to my mother over the phone.

"Oh sure, sweetie! I love you." Mum said with a voice sweet like honey. I let out a small giggle, "I love you too, mum. Bye."  I said then hung up the phone. I put the phone on the counter top and got up to get the door. I opened the door to find that familiar tall figure right before my eyes. Liam.

"Oh. Hi..." I say looking away from him, my voice sounding distant all of a sudden, "what do you want?" I ask him a bit sternly. "Can I come in?" He asked blankly.

" I guess... Come in." I shrugged. Hopefully there won't be any arguing or anything of that. I just want things to be alright between both of us. Part of me is telling me he's hiding something from me... I hope he isn't... We both take a seat on the couch, staying silent for quite a while - letting the uncomfortable atmosphere take over the room. "What's wrong?" I ask breaking the silence as I look at him. He looked at me silently for a moment then nodded, "Nothing's wrong." He say looking away, trying to avoid my gaze at him.

"Please tell me what's wrong... I know that there's something wrong. I could see it in your eyes." I pleaded him. I was secretly hoping he wouldn't snap on me and yell at me. But I was wrong....

"Dear God, Diana! There's nothing wrong with me, do you want something to be wrong with me!? If I tell you that there's nothing wrong with me, there's nothing wrong with me!" He yelled at me.

"I- I'm sorry..." My voice cracked. I felt tears brimming in my eyes, I've never seen Liam this mad before. I knew that there was something that he wasn't telling me for sure. But up to this point i was scared of him. No.... I blinked the tears back and got courage to not be scared of him. His face softened at my reaction, "Diana I'm sorr-"

"Get out..." I cut him off. My voice loud enough for him to hear.

"What?" He asked me, his eyes started to lose the dullness from earlier. "Get the fuck out Liam!" I yelled. "I'm sorry but, I just don't want to see your face right now! I'm trying to help you out and I'm trying to be a good girlfriend but you're not letting me. So what's the fucking point of me trying to help you when you just yelled at me like that!?" I yelled in frustration.

"Baby I-"

"Get the hell out!" I cut him off once more. "And don't you fucking dare call or text me until you figure out yourself with what is wrong with you." I yelled as I stood up from my seat and pointed towards the door. Without another word he got up from where he was sitting, then he slammed the door when he got out. I stayed in place processing everything that just happened. I closed my eyes and let out sigh as I ran my fingers through my hair. I felt my heart breaking slowly by the second. I felt a knot in my throat and the tears coming back, "What's going on with him?" I whispered to myself as tears started running down my eyes.

Ariel's P.O.V

"I wonder why Diana didn't come? Something's telling that there's something going on, because its pretty weird that Liam and Diana were doing okay like two hours ago and then they're distant with each other, don't you think?" I told Yuli. She stayed quiet for a while processing the information. "True," She said. "We have to find out what's going on. Cause it is pretty rare if her to be acting like this."

I nodded in agreement. "What are you two girls talking about?" Maria and Amber joined in the conversation. "What did Diana tell you when she texted you?" Yulianna spoke quickly as she put her hands on Maria's shoulders. Maria thought for a minute, trying to remember.

"She said that she didn't feel well, and that Liam was acting  different." She explained. Yulianna and I processed the information that Maria had just told us. I started putting the puzzle pieces together, making everything more clear. Something's telling me it has to do with the girl at McDonald's, and then I remember I saw the girl giving Liam a small piece of paper. I realized that, that paper can have her address or number. Then, Liam was somewhat flirting with her, by looking at her constantly. Ding, ding, ding!

"We need to go talk to her. This has to do with the girl at McDonald's. He's up to something." I said to the girls. They all looked at me surprisingly, "Are you sure?" Maria asked unsure. I nodded determinedly.

"What's going on?" Amber asked, looking confused. "We'll explain everything to you on the way." I told her.

"Um, what about the boys? Are we just going to leave them here?" Maria asked. I looked over to the four boys in line waiting to get on the London Eye. "They'll be fine, they won't notice anyways - they're too distracted to notice anything." I said simply. Maria just nodded in agreement, "Alright, let's go."

We all got on the car, and drove back to the hotel.

(At the hotel)

We all got down from the car, slamming the car doors shut and running inside as fast as our legs could take us. When we got to the hotel room where Diana and the girls were staying, Maria knocked on the door fast. "Diana open up." She yelled. After a while we heard foot steps getting closer to the door, then as it opened we saw Diana in her shorts, and a tank top with a messy bun.

"Yes?" She asked emotionless.

"We need to talk to you." I said as got in, with the girls following along. As I stepped in I found two boxes of pizza, and a frappé from Starbucks. "Uh, can you explain this to me please?" Maria asked making a surprised face as she looked at the food. Diana looked at the same thing that Maria was looking at, "Oh that... Yeah sorry Maria. I kinda, sorta, maybe a little bit spent some of your money." Diana said with an innocent - like face.

"You what!?" Maria practically yelled. Yulianna let out a loud laugh. "Shut up Yuli!" Maria screamed. "We need to talk to you about something." I said ignoring the other situation.

"About?" Diana raised an eyebrow.

"About Liam," I responded. "We know that it's not because you don't feel well. It's because of Liam, and we think it's because of the girl at McDonald's."
