We are all about to die.... Chapter 1 (Jack's POV)

"Aghhhhhhhhhh!" Aly Screamed. "What the heck is that thing?!" Cass, Aly, and I were running for our lives. We encountered the strangest beast. It looked almost human like! It had wings, a tail, and sharp teeth. It  was the scariest thing I had ever encountered.....   " It was nice knowing you jack..." Aly said with pity and sorrow. Then I tripped over a stick and fell. I looked at the shape of the stick. I had an Idea! " Hey Monster! Eat this!" I quickly threw it at him!" The  Monster was furious! Then my worst nightmare happened. It attacked. I Quickly shot more and more rocks. And it got more and more furious! " $#!&%" Aly screamed. Just then a flash of orange came hurling right towards us. I was scared it was another monster but it wasn't! just then a sword came flying at the monster and it turned to dust. " Whoa!" Cass exclaimed. "That was emosewa!" " yeah." I agreed. I wanted to pick up the sword and keep it but I was too afraid that it would turn me to dust... So I decided to leave the magical sword there. It surprisingly not the weirdest thing I saw that day. We decided to call my dad so he could pick us up and take us back to KI. As we hopped in the car I looked back at where the sword was but it wasn't there anymore! Baffled I looked away. When we got back to KI It was 1:00 in the morning. As I laid in my bed I was thinking about that orange shirt dude and his magic sword. Maybe he was one of the monks... Maybe he was a guardian of the select... Or maybe he was just a random kid that just happened to find a magical sword, saw the monster, and idiotically just threw the sword and he got a lucky shot. Whatever it was I  wanted to know and I was determained to find the answers to all my questions. I thought about it for a long time... And then staring at my ceiling I finally closed my eyes and slept.
