Maya, Farkle and I buzz into Riley's building. When we go into the elevator Farkle says
"Well, well, well. Two out of three of my ladies in an elevator with moi"
Maya rolls her eyes.
"Oh Farkle, I think now it's time I confess my true feelings about you" I act. Maya looks at me like I'm a crazy person. I give her a look and she understands.
"Yeah, Ally and I are crazy about you" she says. "I knew you were" he smirks. "We love you so much" I say then step up to him. He steps back.
"We want to tie you up and keep you forever" Maya says stepping up to him. He steps back to the elevator door. I put my hands on both sides of him. He says "Um, uh, gee" then the doors open. I didn't put all my weight on the doors so I was ok but Farkle fell down. Maya and I laugh. Farkle gets up.
"Oh, you guys were acting" he says in realization. Maya and I nod then laugh again. The whole way to Riley's door we were teasing him. By the time we got their we calmed down and went inside. "Maya, Ally, oatmeal" Topanga says. I run over to her oatmeal that was on the left of Riley and started shoving it in my mouth. I looked up to see everyone looking at me weirdly.
"Um, no breakfast" I say innocently then eat some more. I finish the bowl by the time Maya says
"No thanks, Mrs. Matthews"
"Oh, I wasn't asking" Topanga replies. "Yeow" Maya says then sits on the other side of Riley and eats.
"Farkle, you too" she says.
"Thank you. But my mother already made me eggs, home fries, wheat toast, marmalade and a strawberry shaped as a star" Farkle says as he sits next to me.
"I'm going to the Farkle's! Who's with me?!" Auggie says then gets out of his seat. "Sit down. Eat please" Topanga says. "But it's still this" Auggie complains. "Auggie, some people don't get any breakfast, lunch and dinner in the middle east. Be grateful you get a breakfast" I tell him. He looks at me nonchalantly. "Eh, I tried" I said. I took out a piece of Orbit gum and chewed it. "Hey, Auggie. Guess what? It's Googly time" Mr. M says. "No TV at the table" Topanga says. "Your right Topanga. This table is about the discussion pf today's events only. Riley?" Mr. M says.
"I woke up. I love everything. I sat here" she says with a big grin.
"All caught up. Googly Time" Mr. M says then turns on the TV.
"Here comes Mr. Googly, and his foogly boogly friends" we all sing along with the TV until Auggie shuts the TV off. "Hey" we all say.
"I'm too old for Mr. Googly" Auggie says.
"What?" Topanga says.
"But Auggie! Mr. Googly is your best friend!" Mr. M exclaims. Topanga sits next to Auggie and says "Auggie, I'm you foogly boogly best friend" with his stuffed version of Mr. Googly.
"Can I tell you a secret?" Auggie says. "Of course, you can Mr. Googly all your secrets" Topanga says. "I have a new best friend now" Auggie says. "Oh really? Who would that be?" Topanga asks. "I don't want to tell you who she is" Auggie says. "She?" we all exclaim. "I've said too much" Auggie says. "Ok how about you tell Mr. Googly all about your new best friend and none of us will listen?" Topanga suggests. We get the message and pretend we're not paying attention. "I'm this many (holds out 5 fingers). I'm done with you now. Goodbye" Auggie says then puts Mr. Googly away. "They grow up so fast" Riley says. I pout. We all take the subway to school. We told Riley all about the acting in the elevator. She laughed so hard. Then we all started laughing. When we go into the hallway, Riley starts saying
"I was so worried about this new school year. New school, new people. I didn't think I was going to survive. Now not only am I surviving, I'm thriving. I'm like a plant that going like this" then she does this weird stance.
"What was I so worried about?"
"I feel ya Riley, I went through everything you just said. But I feel like a rose, pretty and sweet but have thorns" I say. She and I high five. Maya looks into the classroom then comes out and covers our eyes. "What are you doing?" I ask. "Oh but this is too easy, it's Maya. I know because I saw you put your hands over our faces" Riley says. "We'll do you now" Riley says then starts to put her hand on Maya's face.
"Oh that's not the game" Maya says. "Then what's the game?" I ask. "The game is to protect the plant and the rose from the bulldozer in the pink sweater" Maya says. "Oh Maya. Bulldozers don't wear pink sweaters" Riley says then looks into the classroom and her face falls then comes back. "You okay?" Maya asks. "Yeah" Riley replies and slouches down against the lockers. "What could be so bad to ruin this girl's day?" I say. I go into the classroom, interrupting a girl and Lucas flirting. "Oh, hello Lucas. Who's your friend?" I ask. "This is Missy Bradford. Missy this is Ally Ferra" Lucas says awkwardly. "Nice to meet ya" Missy says with a fake smile. "Back at ya" I say. I leave the classroom and slouch beside Riley. "Oh look at what the bulldozer to ya two" Maya says. "No, only the plant is affected" I say. "Uh huh" Maya murmurs. I give her a glare. "There are other girls in this school" Riley says. "There are" Maya says. "And other girls, like Missy Bradford, are going to talk to Lucas" Riley states. "They are" I say glumly.
"I don't like that. I wish the world was just us three" Riley says.
"Then it is" Maya and I say then link arms with Riley. When we go to class Riley and I are out of it. I can sort pf hear Mr. M go

"A date? They're going on a date?" Riley asks. "In Italy?" she asks.
"No honey, your in history" Maya says. "I'm history?" Riley asks. "Ok, put your hand up" Maya says while holding Riley's arm up. "Yes, Riley? You have a pertinent observation on the subject of the Sneak Attack?" Mr. M says. "May I be excused?" Maya says to Riley. "My eyes see my shoes" Riley says. Maya motions for Mr. M. "Yes Riley, you may be excused" Mr. M says. "Forever?" Riley asks. "No, you have to come back at some point, sweetie. You just have to" Mr. M says. She almost hits the chalk board if Mr. M didn't shove her to the door. "Ally, you seem pretty quiet for some reason" Farkle says. "Shut it or I'll rearrange your organs" I say. He does but it doesn't shut up Maya. "Oh, you in a bad mood Ally?" she asks. "That time of the month I guess" I say. "I don't think so, you were very hyper this morning until recent events happened" Maya says. "Can't a girl just be moody for no reason?" I ask.
Maya raises her hand.
"Yes Ms. Hart" Mr. M says.
"After the sneak attack, did people realize what they had?" Maya asks.
I glare at her.
"Yes, many weddings took place after the sneak attack actually" Mr. M replies. "Weddings you say" Maya says.
"Continue with the lesson Mr. M" I say loudly.
"It was another sunny day in paradise before the sneak attack that changed everything" Mr. M says. I see Riley looking in disgust of Missy and Lucas. Farkle and I both look at her in surprise. "Do you like the movies? Dark at the movies" Missy asks. "Depends on the movie. Depends on who I'm going with" Lucas says. "Grrr" I say silently. "What sweetheart, didn't catch that?" Maya says. "Grrrreat that Missy is being nice to Lucas" I say. "Mmhmm" Maya says. "Scary movies? I get scared at scary movies. You'll take care of me though, right?" Missy asks. Lucas doesn't reply and smiles politely.
"People who viewed themselves as safe, no longer had any security at all" Mr. M says. "Just you and me, Missy?" Lucas asks. "Just you and me, Lucas" Missy says. "Bleh" I say. "What sweetheart?" Maya says. "If she touches him I may just lose it" I say while almost snapping my pencil. Maya looks at me surprised. "Because...the flirting is gross" I say. "Ok, we'll talk about this later" Maya says. "Okay" I say. Missy boops Lucas on the nose. Snap! "Settle down rose!" Maya says. I start shaking in anger. Looks like I'm not the only one. Riley bursts in and says
"Boop? That's the best you got?!"
"Please be cool. Please be cool. Please be cool" Maya says to herself.
"You don't think that I can do boop?" Riley says. "How bad do you think this'll be?" Maya asks me and Farkle.
"I think we should have some faith in our Riley" Farkle says.
"I'm actually rooting for her" I say.
"I can do boop like you've never seen. Boop" Riley says but the finger ends up in Lucas's nose. I look in surprise. "Does anybody see this?" Riley says. "Everybody sees this" Missy says snottily.
"Take your finger out" Maya says.
"Can't. Can't move. Scared" Riley says.
"Do you think Lucas knows?" Riley asks. "Riley, I've never seen anything like this happen. I don't know what's going to happen" Maya says.
"Ally?" Riley asks. I stand up and say "Everyone avert your eyes" and they do. "Farkle?" Riley asks.
"Boy, Riley. I don't think I could do that if I tried. Hey Ally, boop. Oh no" Farkle says as I grab his finger. "Touch me with that and you die" I say. He goes back to his seat.
"The Bombing of Pearl Harbor was our official entrance to war. And nothing would be the same again" Mr. M says.
