The Lost Power

Prologue

Many eras ago, the supernatural world had peace and no internal wars. The supernatural world was hidden from the humans.  The royal family of magic wielders kept the balance and peace of the world. The magic wielder's empire encompassed the world and was very strong. The royal family were the strongest people alive with powers parallel to the gods. Maybe the royal family were gods in human forms. They settled disputed between their subjects and always kept the peace through their power and diplomacy.

This peace was ever so fragile though. The long line of Regius kings eventually ended when the Queen's brother killed the King out of greed and lust. The brother was always jealous of the King and wanted the throne to himself even though he knew that only the Regius bloodline could rule the supernatural world. The Queen was shocked by this and she hid her only heir and then sacrificed herself to kill her evil brother. It was a necessity to seal the power of the Reguis children until they come of age, because their power is so strong that it can be dangerous. If this seal was not lifted then it would be placed on every heir throughout the bloodline. The seal would restrict and hide the true power of its host and can only be broken if the host attains his or her max potential with the seal still in effect or by the the King and Queen who placed the seal.

Without any heir to the throne many pretenders arose to the throne, but none fit to rule. the empire eventually collapsed and the supernatural world waged war once again. Vampires declared independence and formed individual groups called factions. The werewolves formed their own packs. The magic wielders formed covens to protect themselves. And the other supernatural beings formed their own groups. As always the supernaturals kept their exist hidden from the humans, but all the chaos caused by the collapse of the empire would not go unnoticed by the all humans. Some humans that knew of the supernatural formed groups to hunt down the supernatural. They were called hunters and were feared by their prey, but not all were scared of them. The hunters learned some of the supernaturals' weaknesses and exploited them to their needs. Maybe that's what made them so strong. But in the end they are only humans and are vulnerable to the supernaturals, so the secret hunters formed a secret global organization that tried to kill the evil supernatural beings.

Many years pass and now it brings us to the modern age. Where there are cars, TVs, Internet, mobile phones, and electronics. We take a look at a certain individual named Emory Pierce. She is the daughter of a strong coven of witches ruled by the Pierce family. Emory is said to be stubborn, funny, intelligent, slightly shy, but also caring. She and her brother are strong witches due to the Pierce blood in their veins. They live among the humans and act like normal sixteen year old's.

Emory struggles in with her life as a being a human student and a secret witch. She has to deal with her double sided life.
