Miranda Runs after her parents screaming their names, but they can't seem to hear her. She runs faster trying to reach them, but no matter how fast she runs they are always fo far ahead of her. Her parents get into their car. Miranda screams for them not to get in for she knows what will happen if they do. It was like they were deaf to her screams. They drive away leaving Miranda behind

"Please don't go! Come Back!" she ylls as the car's taillights disappear around the corner. "No! Come Back Come Back PLEASE come back!"

Miranda wakes up with tears streaming down her face. the nightmare makes her shiver. No matter how many times she has the nightmare it always leaves her crying and upset. It was of the day her parents died two years ago. They had been driving to a party in the worst thunder storm ever to happen in Whispering pines NOrth Carolina. Miranda had begged them not to go but they wouldn't listen. Later that night she had gotten a phone call saying her parents had gotten into a car crash and died on the was to the hospital.

Thinking about it makes her cry even harder. Her cries turn into sobs. She missed her parents so much, drawing her knees to her chest she cries from the pain and sorrow they left behind. Suddenly she ffels the strong loving arms of her older brother wrapping around her in a hug. She hears his soothing voice and starts to calm down. She didn't know how long they stayed like this but finally her tears stopped.

"Did you have the nightmare again?" her brother Matt asks already knowing the answer. She nodds her head, not trusting herself to speak. He kisses the top of her head and lets go of her, Miranda lays back down and falls asleep again.

Matt gets up and heads for the door. Before he turns off the lights he looks back at his little sisters sleeping figure making sure she was still asleep. He leaves her room and heads for his own. When he gets to his room he quietly closes the door behind him. Sitting on his bed he sighs, pushing a hand through his hair. Seeing Miranda that upset tears his heart in two. He has been devestated by thier parents death, so had she, but it had effected him the most. He cried every night for them, hating them for leaving him and his sister alone in the world. But he couldn't let Maranda know this. He had to be strong on the outside for her when in reality he was as weak as one could get. Matt sighs again and picks up the waiting needle that was on his bedside table.
