Craig P.O.V

I was sitting at home, crying and eating sherbet ice cream, when my phone rang. I picked it up and it read Ray. Part of me wanted to let the phone ring but the other half, that loves that man to death, said answer. In the end the heart won over the mind.

"Hello, Rayan." I said, my words laced with hate and sorrow.

"Bae, I'm sorry. What me and Mike didn't mean a thing to me. Baby, you gotta believe me." Ray said apologetically.

"Even if I did believe you, it apparently meant something to her, if she had to interrupt the conservation I was having with my best friend, just to say that the man I love cheated on me." I said unfazed by his plea for forgiveness.

"SHE DID WHAT!!" Ray exclaimed angrily.

"You heard me. You need to get yo hoes in order Ray." I replied with an attitude.

"Bae, what the fuck is you talking about? Ion have no hoes baby. All I have is you and I love you and you only, Craig." Ray said sincerely.

"It don't seem like it, Ray" I said unmoved by his heartfelt speech.

"Alright man, just put something on nice and wait until I call you." Ray said with a sigh then hung up before I could ask him why.

After got out the shower, I put on my black and gold dress and went downstairs, just in time to get a phone call from Ray.

He told me to open the door. I did as I was told and was stunned. Ray looked incredibly sexy and it was so cute that we just so happened to match.

"Baby, you look beautiful." Ray said as he took my hand and walked me to his car.

"Don't I always but come on let's go." I said, dismissing his compliment. I have to admit, I was being a lil salty but I'm still pissed and upset.

I heard him sigh and as he opened my door, closed it and got in on the drivers side.

"Baby." He said as he put his hand on my thigh but I quickly took his hand off me and snapped at him.

"Don't touch me!!" I snapped.

He sighed once again and just payed attention to the road the rest of the ride.

Ray P.O.V

We finally made it to the restaurant where we had our first date. By the the joy and surprise on her face, I knew I was home free but I still had to make her crack because she wanna play hard to get.

I unlocked the doors and went over to the passenger side. When I got to her side, I opened her door and I grabbed her hand. I led us inside and went to the table I reserved for us. She looked around and I guess, she noticed we were the only ones in the restaurant because she looked at me confused.

"Why are we the only ones in here?" She asked.

"Cuz, Craig, I bought out the restaurant for us and only us, baby." I said sweetly as I grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it.

"I told baby that I love you and only you and I mean it, baby. I can't live without you and I honestly don't want to. Baby, I love you so Craig Crippen will you marry me?" I said as I got on my knees, removed the ring from my pocket and held it out to her.

"Yes, Ray, yes!!" She said with joyful tears streaming down her face. I slipped the ring on her finger.

"I love you, Ray." She whispered through her tears.

"I love you too, baby." After that was said I kissed him and we went back home to do the do.
