Shielding Love (Roman Reigns fan fic)

Chapter 6

Christina's POV:

Tonight we had smackdown. Which means it's been exactly a week since Roman asked me out. Phil was still pissy about it and Aj seemed ok with it ,but I know she'd still prefer I was with someone else.

I heard my phone ringing and picked it up since it was Phil.

"Are you riding with us tonight or your little boyfriend?" He asked bitterly.

"I'm riding with you guys. And why so bitter Punk?"

"Alright well be ready in 15 minutes and don't plan on spending all your time at the arena with Roman tonight" he said then hung up never answering my question.

My phone kept going off from Roman texting me. Even though I was off to the side of Aj and Phil I could tell they where getting annoyed.

"You know you could at least act like we exist instead of having your face in your phone the whole time" Phil said.

"Yea I have to agree with him on that one sis. You and Roman have only been together for a week so why are you so into this relationship already?" Aj asked.

"Aj just let me handle my relationship on my own please" I said.

"Fine."

It was later in the night and Aj and Phil where in the ring for a mixed tag match.

Roman snuck up behind me and picked me up then spun me around and put me back down on my feet.

I turned to face him and hugged him."Hey big guy."

"Hey princess. I was thinking that maybe me and you could leave early ,since this is the last match of the night, and go out somewhere" he suggested.

"Aj's gonna be pissed ,but sure. She's been kinda pissy lately anyways and especially Phil" I said.

"Well then let's go" he said grabbing my hand and leading the way to his rental car.

We parked the car about a block away from where we were going so we could walk together for a few minutes.

We went out to a local café and got coffees. It was almost winter now so the warm drink was refreshing after being in the cold.

My phone began to blow up with calls and text from Aj.

"Do you wanna step outside so you can talk to her?" Roman asked.

"No it's fine" I said turning off my ringer.

[hotel]

We where walking hand in hand to my hotel room. We stopped at my room door and gazed into each other's eyes. Roman leaned in and kissed me and went to pull away in worry that I didn't want him to kiss me. I pulled his head back close to mine and we made out.

"Of course you left us to go mess around with him" Phil's voice interrupted.

"My phone didn't have a charge so I just figured I'd go out with Roman and fill you guys in later. It's not that big of a deal" I said.

Aj grabbed my phone from my hoodies pocket.

"That was almost believable, but your phones at 72 so nice try",Aj said,"I don't even know what to say right now. Why the hell would you lie to me? We'll talk about this tomorrow."

"We actually have plans tomorrow so you're gonna have to re schedule your lecture" Roman said.

I looked at him and smiled then grabbed his hand.

"Glad you gave your priorities straight Christina. Have fun in bed with your boy toy. Just make sure you don't burn all your bridges just it be with a guy you barely know" Phil said then him and Aj left.

"So now that they're gone do you wanna go inside and continue where we left off ?"

"Certainly" Roman said.
