Chapter Two

'Cause i'm in love with these tumblr girls, with skinny waste and drug habits' My favorite song went off as my alarm. G-Eazy is one of my favorite artist, I know all his songs and all the words to them, I could probably sing them to you backwards, but who has time for that?

I changed into a pair of jeans and one of my dads old sweatshirts, it lost its smell a long time ago, I loved my dads smell, hope that doesn't freak you out or anything, but anyways. My dad died about 4 years ago, and thats when I started my youtube channel, first I just did it to grieve but then it turned into something special.

I through my hair up into a messy bun, and walked down stairs with my keys, phone, and camera in hand.

I set my stuff on the counter and waited for my mom to come.

"Alright lets go." she said dragging her two suit cases behind her. I grabbed one of her suit cases to help her out, I grabbed my stuff off the counter and then we were out the door. We put my mom stuff in the trunk and we were off.

"So it is 3:47 am right now and Keagan is driving me to the airport." My mom said showing me to the camera. I gave the camera a little wave. She started talking about something but I wasn't paying attention. I was thinking of what to email Hayes back. I don't know if i should go out today or not. My grandma isn't coming till tomorrow and I still needed to pick up the house and go grocery shopping. Maybe he could go with me?

"Honey?" My mom said shaking me out of my thoughts, "Yeah?" She gave me a weird look, "Are you okay?" I nodded my head, "Yeah, I'm just tired." Which was a lie, I wasn't tired at all. I don't have a sleeping pattern. "Okay." She said unsure and started talking to the camera again.

Once we got to the airport my mom handed me the camera, and got out. I helped her with her bags, and now it was time to say goodbye.

"Please try to call me at least twice a week, I know you don't get good reception over there, but it would be nice if you did." I asked. It was going to be a long summer without my mom. "I will don't worry." She gave me a reassuring smile. "Flight 407, Boarding for Ghana, Africa 5:00 am" The voice boomed from the speaker. My mom pulled me into a tight hug. "I love you, be good for your grandma." She whispered in my ear, "I love you too, no promises." I whispered back and she chuckled. "I'll see you soon she said across the airport. "See you soon." I quietly said to myself.

I drove home with my mind blank. I was already missing my mom. The longest i've ever been away from her was 4 weeks, but I can do this. I know I can, if I just stay positive.

I went back up to my room and talked for my channel a little bit and signed off.

I decided to email back Hayes. Its 5:30 and i'm pretty sure he isn't up so he will have by when he wakes up.

Dear Hayes,

I just dropped my mom off at the airport, so since I am awake, I am writing to you now. It would be cool to hang out with you today, but my grandma is coming tomorrow for the summer, to help around the house. So I have some things to do like clean up the house, and go grocery shopping, but if you would like to come that would be awesome, I wouldn't be as lonely as I am right now lol.

I wasn't planning on going back to bed so I picked out my outfit for the day and decided to watch Netflix, and waited for hayes to email me back.

I put on my white stitched high wasted shorts, and my white flowy top. Then I put on some small rings, and two necklaces. One from my dad which is an umbrella, because when I was born it was a rainy day, and a small aqua green crystal from my mom, because it was my favorite color. I put on a natural look for make up and I let my hair down like normal. Don't think i'm getting all dressed up for Hayes. I always dress cute, because I like my appearance to be cute.
