Walking in the house I heard the home phone ringing. Going over to it I answered, "Hello, Young residents, Makayla speaking."

"Hi, is Chris there?" Asked the very deep and kinda scary voice.

"Uh yer I'll just get him." Placing the phone down I walked into the kitchen where everyone was.

"Whose on the phone?" Dad asked

"Uh I don't know but it's for Chris." All eyes turned to Chris who rose to his feet and walked over to the phone.

"Wonder who it is." I walked over and sat down, Ciara sitting next to me.

"So why are you home early?" Mum asked in a soft voice.

"I may or may not have broken someone's nose." The twins looked at me and I just shrugged my shoulders.

"Who?" Dad asked raising his eyebrows

"Elle." Everyone just nodded there heads because they know how much I hate her. Soon after Chris came back into the kitchen.

"Kay, Hayden and Cayden we have to go."

"Go where?" Mum asked

"We have errands to run." He replied

"What about me?" Ciara asked I looked over at her.

"Let's talk outside." I said pulling her up, "Bye mum, bye dad. Love you."

Walking outside with just Ciara, "You can't come" I stated

"Why not?" She said crossing her arms over her chest.

"Because it might be dangerous and I can't risk losing you." I said, she could tell that I was right.

Sighing she uncrossed her arms, "Fine. Promise me you'll be safe."

"I promise."

Just then the boys came out, "Come on we have to go." Hayden said.

"Are you staying the night?" I asked quickly walking down the two steps.

"Yer, I'll be here, waiting." She smiled. I blew her a kiss which she returned.

The thing with Ciara is she always wants to come when we have gang meetings or have something to do with the gang. I always refuse to let her come because:
1. She's more of the artsy type
2. I don't need anything to happen to her and
3. I need her more than anything right now.

"So what's the go?" Cayden asked bring me from my thoughts.

"That call I just got, well that was the leader of the other gang." Dead silence, I'm not sure if anyone was actually breathing.

"He wants to meet me." He said pulling up into a dark alley.

"So why'd you bring us?" I asked going to get out but he stopped me

"In case he tries something duh." Hayden answered like it was the most obvious thing ever. Which it was but I'm still tired.

"Oh yer, sorry." I said shaking my head

"Hey are you okay?" Chris asked putting a hand on my shoulder and giving it a squeeze.

"Just tired. That's all." I said with a weak smile.

Getting out of the car Chris walked over to the only door in the alley while me and the twins stayed at the car, keeping our eyes out for anything suspicious.
