Chapter 21.

I feel my phone vibrate and I see Harry's name flash across my screen making me smile.

From: Harry Styles (:

We need to talk.

My heart sinks at those words.

To: Harry Styles (:

Is everything okay?

I sent back anxiously, what does he want to talk about? Where is he? I don't think he's going to break up with me, Harry wouldn't do that, would he? He told me he loves me and he wouldn't screw up like he did. Harry's name flashed across the screen, my thumb quickly clicked answer.

"Hello?" I asked quickly.

"Delilah. Meet me at the coffee shop off of Main St. Like now." He tells me and hangs up.

"Sorry guys I got to go. I'll see you later!" I tell them and walk out if the lunch room walking outside.

"Shit" I mumble remembering how Harry brought me here.

"Need a ride?" I turned to see Sarah standing by the school doors.

"No ill walk." I say coldly and begin walking.

"Just let me take you" she says and I sigh.

"Fine"

The car ride was extremely awkward and silent. We aren't as close as we were and she isn't the same Sarah I knew and loved. I are Harry's truck parked in front if the small coffee shop. I begin to get nervous as she stops.

"Del listen I'm so-" she tells me but I get out and mumble a thank you before shutting the door. She drives off as I walk inside. I instantly spot Harry, he's drinking coffee with his back faced towards me. I take a deep breath before walking towards him.

"Hi" I say quietly and sit down. He doesn't look up at me he just stares at his drink. "What's wrong?" I asked getting worried.

"I can't see you anymore" he says with no emotion. His words cut like knifes as his words leave his lips.

"I thought you l-loved me." The tears threaten to fall from my eyes.

"I do it's just.. I can't tell you." He says still not looking at me.

"Why can't you tell me?" I ask. Maybe it was because of last night, maybe he doesn't want me anymore because he regrets what we did. I'm so stupid.

"I just can't. Trust me, I do love you it's just we can't be together. You deserve better and if I don't do this now, it'll happen later." He tells me making my heart ache.

"So this was our talk?" I asked whipping the few tears that slipped.

"Yeah" he says and gets up. "Bye Delilah." He tells me and walks out of the restaurant. Leaving me heartbroken. I take a deep breath and walk outside. Harry's already gone, he just smashed my heart into pieces then just left. Like I was nothing, I should've known better.

By the time I get home by walking its in the early evening. I don't want to face my mom since I've been crying my eyes out, so I just go straight to my room and take a long heart shower. When I get out I've stopped crying, I got dressed and braided my hair before climbing into my bed. My heart actually ached, call me a drama queen but loving someone so much and then they just leave you. For no good reason, it's the worst feeling ever.

-1 week later-

People say time heals all wounds, well not this one. It hurts more and more everyday. He ignores me during school, and so does his group.

"Hey Delilah" Logan said sitting down next to me. He's gotten really popular and he has girls all over him. It's really annoying because now I get glares from every female in the school, like seriously. I don't like Logan like hat but he was one of my good friends now. When Harry saw us talking he shot Logan a death glare. Oh I just hit the best idea.

"Hey Logan do you want to go that party with me tonight?" I asked him with a smile. I realized how close my face was to his.

"Sure" he said returning the smile. I turned to away to see Harry walking towards us.

"What the hell" he growls at me. I flinch back as he grabs me and pulls me out of the lunch room, angrily shoving the doors Open. What in the world is he doing? I shot Logan a apologetic and a its okay look before I'm in the hallway alone with Harry.
