"Get your skinny arse out here! It's video time." I whimpered slightly. Time to torture my parents again. He pulled me roughly towards a chair. My stomach grumbled loudly, causing him to smack me. I held in my cry of shock. The video started rolling, and I had to sound as hurt as possible. "Daddy, Mommy. I- they aren't feeding me. I've got bones sticking out, I love yo-"
"Shut the fuck up. Stick to what I told you to say." Another slap. I cried out this time. Turning back to the camera, I let a couple tears fall down my face. "You know the address, but they want two million dollars or something. I don't know how much that is, Daddy. Please, just get me out."
"Skylar?" I heard Louis ask. I scrambled to sit up, feeling dry tears on my face. "What the fuck just happened?" Instead of answering him immediately, I cuddled into his side. He hugged me tightly, noticing how unstable I was right now. "Sky, tell me what just happened."
"Fine. When I was about eight, I was taken from my family. Some people kept me with them for about three months, feeding me very little food. Shit happened, but I got out of there with a few scars. He had to pay two million dollars for me, but I guess that's the price of Simon Cowell's daughter."
"I guess I might as well throw in there that I was raped by my mum's boyfriend when he found out she had cancer. I ended up accidentally dialing the police, I thought I was pregnant. My brother Brendan was living with my aunt at the time, he never knew what was happening at home. One day I got a letter, and it told me he was going into the military. Haven't heard from him since, for all I know he can be dead." Louis stared at me as I stared at the wall, not shearing another tear. Him though, he was sobbing, trying to catch his breath. I played with his fingers, trying to calm him down somehow. "Lou-"
"How aren't you sobbing your eyes out?" He asked me before I could finish what I was going to say. I shrugged, intertwining both of our hands. "I really don't know. I feel like I should be bawling my eyes out every night, or somehow broken. But I'm not."
"Management forced me to date Eleanor. It wasn't real, and I really didn't want to. They threatened me with my job-" I cut him off, "I'm glad you did it then. I don't want you to loose your job over me."
"I still should've told you at least, and I defiantly shouldn't of let her say all those things about you." He told me protesting. I held his chin between my fingers with a slight smile, "We're together now. That's all I care about." He gave me a long kiss, "Me too."

morning
Pouring my daily coffee makes me look up to the rest of the day. After an emotional night with Louis, I feel knackard. I don't expect him to ever give up his job for someone as simple as me. I'm not important, but I am glad that he thought against listening to Management at the last moment. I smiled slightly at the thought, leaning against the counter, watching the stairs, waiting for someone to walk down. Louis began to walk downstairs, smiling slightly when he saw me. He also poured some coffee, with the quiet atmosphere around us. I handed him the seasonal chocolate chip creamer. "Morning."
"Morning, babe." He responded pushing his hair out of his face. I, however, like it when it covers his eyes slightly. I pulled him closer by his arm, leaning against the wall with my coffee in one hand. "You sleep okay?" He nodded his head, taking a gulp of coffee as well, "No, I suppose you didn't either." I shook my head. Louis lifted me onto the kitchen countertop.
We kissed softly. My hands tangled in his hair, his playing with my shirt. Everything about this moment was incredibly sweet. Louis smiled, pulling away. We stared at each other fondly. "I love you." Louis blurted out suddenly. My eyes widened, it hasn't been that long. "I don't care how long it's been, I love you."
"I love you too." Just then, my phone buzzed. I grabbed my coffee again, unlocking my phone. It was a text from an unknown number, Hey, S! It's B, I know you haven't heard from me in a long time, but I spontaneously decided to come home! Could you pick me up at around 6?
"What is it?" Louis asked noticing my confused face. "You know my brother? So he decided to take a flight home, and he's coming home today." Lou looked at me confused, "Then why aren't you jumping around like crazy?"
"I don't really know, it's just- he's never talked to me until now." I mumbled, playing with my fingers. Louis sighed, pecking the top of my head, "It'll be fine. Why don't you go pick him up later, and I'll cook you two a dinner." I raised an eyebrow at him, "You do realize that he's going to interview the shit out of you, right?" Louis' face paled, but he still reassured me once more. As I left the house, it got chilly. I texted B back, telling him that I'f be there. Hopefully he hasn't changed a bit.
I stood in the middle of the airport, where he was supposed to meet me. Hopefully I am in the right place. A mess of shaggy blonde made its way through the blots of people, "B?" His head turned around towards my voice, his bright blue eyes still shining just as bright. He dropped his suitcase, running towards me. All the nervousness from earlier vanished as he spun me around. I dug my face into his shoulder, laughing loudly. "It feels so good to hug you again."
