The colors we painted together were more beautiful than I could've ever imagined.
The whites, the yellows, the oranges, and the pinks. With real paint, he covered me head to toe calling me his masterpiece. He never once told me I wasn't good enough or that I was covered in imperfections; he never once covered me in black and blue like brown and green did close to everyday.
"Black and blue?" I called out
"Yes my little brownie?"
"I think I love you." I looked at the beautiful colors.
"I think I love you too."
We mixed our colors that were on our lips, the pinks and greens made our fix.
"My name is Phil, I'm black and blue."
"My name is Dan, can I paint you bright colors too?"
"Any day my love."
