It was a lovely day. The sun was shining, neighbors were mowing there lawns, birds were chirping, kids were laughing and play. But Andromeda didn't hear any of that. She could only hear the screaming coming from her headphones. She was okay with this though, it was her way of coping. School started tomorrow. Every 15 year old must attend. This was the year where if you gifted you were to leave your family for the amount of time it took to learn to control your powers. But you still wouldn't return home again. Andromeda knew this her best friend Alex found out he was gifted the year before. He sent letters saying he befriended some of the students who were in control of there powers. He managed to find out the fact he wouldn't return even if he found control. "Annie! Dinner!" Drew, her twin brother, shouted that broke her out of her thoughts of Alex. "Coming." she said. "You know the only reason I heard you was..." "Was because my lovely voice sounds better than that awful music." Drew joked. "My taste in music isn't awful. And no, the reason I heard you was because you screamed right in my ear." I responded pretending to clean out my ears. "You should be used to it by know." Drew yelled as he ran inside.
The next day as the first few names were called off, Andromeda looked around the ginormous and pale room, as she looked around all she saw were at lest a hundred kids and all she heard was talking and talking and talking. She wasn't allowed to be wearing her headphones. As she turns to find Drew, she ran right into a different guy, a quite attractive guy in her opinion. He had a good six inches on her and messy blonde hair with these deep green eyes, which she automatically fell in love with. "Sorry didn't see you there." He said " I would love to stay and talk but my name will be called soon and I don't want to miss it." ' I love your eyes too. They remind my of caramel.' He gave a wink and walked off. "NEXT FIVE.

GRACEAndromeda's eyes followed the head of messy blonde hair into one of the test rooms to judge whether or not you are gifted or not. " Hey Annie. Where were you? I was looking every where for you." Drew asked worried. "Who are you looking at?" He asked as he glanced the direction I was staring. "Oh. Um? No one it's nothing." "Sure. Yeah whatever. So how are you gonna handle this?" He asked while he put his hands in his back pocket. "Handle what?" I asked confused. "You know" he lowered his voice "the fact that you already know your gifted, and that you can read minds." He sounded jealous. Like having to hide somethings so big from your family for such a long time. " it's not all the time Drew. Only occasionally." He shrugged as if to say whatever but before he could turn to walk away.
"NEXT FIVE.

ANDROMEDA DARK"Good luck Annie." she looked back at Drew, but before she walked away she ran up to her brother and gave him a hug, in case it was her last, than she turned and left her brother behind to walk through a pale white door with a complete stranger.
