"Hello. My name is Jefferson Miles, and I'll be asking you a few questions to determine if you are gifted or not." Jefferson said. "Please take a seat." "Look I know this your job and stuff, but I already know I'm gifted." Jefferson gives a small smile and writes down some notes. "I'm not lying." Andromeda exclaimed. "I know. My gift, as well as all the other asking questions can tell when people are lying." He said "If that's true." "Which it is" Jefferson interrupted "If it's true why did you write down something, and why can't I read your mind?" Andromeda asked. "This room is designed so only certain people are able to access there abilities. And I was writing down a recommendation, for you, to be in my house." "oh." Andromeda breathed out. "Do you think I can ask you a favor?" Jefferson nods, "Could you recommend my brother, Drew, for your house as well. I don't think I could stand being without him." Andromeda asked. Jefferson stood up, so did Andromeda. "I'll try. Right this way." Jefferson showed Andromeda to a door opposite of the one she came in. They shook hands "oh wait." Jefferson reaches behind the desk opens the top drawer and pulls out a pair of headphones. "You may want these." Jefferson said while handing them to her. Andromeda took the headphones sticking them in the back pocket of her jeans, nodded her head in thanks, than walked through the pale white door.
The door lead to a long plain hallway. Once Andromeda walked through Jefferson shut the door behind her, looking back Andromeda bent down and pulled out her phone from one of her boots. She untangled the headphones, plugged them in to her phone and it instantly started to play music. She lost herself in the music and drowned out the voices at the end of the hall. Andromeda walked down the hallway through a archway that opened up into a lounge like area. Only about 15 kids were sitting in various places around the room. She looked to her left expecting to find other kids who passed the so called test. I must be the only one. She thought. Only one. Ha. Your done five minutes before the test are usually over. Andromeda recognized that voice, it belonged to the boy who said her eyes looked like caramel, She looked up and around the room to the other teens. The boy from before, along with everyone else in the room was staring at her curiously. Execpt the boy with blonde hair and unforgettable green eyes. Hello my name is Oliver. Wanna keep reading each other's minds or do you want to come and talk like a normal person. He looked at me with a questionable glance, all the other kids stoped staring. But Oliver keep eye contact. Who said I was normal. I replied back before I turned my music up and went to sit on the other end of the room, waiting for someone I knew to walk through one of the doors.
