Falling In Love Is Never Easy

Chapter 2

- Remington's POV -
If one more person bumps into me today I will not be responsible for their injuries.
"Hi, don't I know you from somewhere?" I hear somewhere ask beside me. I look to the voice and see it's a blonde with a huge smile on her face. I guess she's decent.
"No doll I don't think we've met." I tell her smirking. Her face falls a little and the girl beside her that I didn't notice starts laughing. I give them a wink and start walking away.
I think I'm done being here it's time to go. I start walking towards the door laughing when my phone goes off. I reach in my pocket to get it out and look at the text when I feel something hit my chest and pounce off with a yelp. See this is what I'm talking about people not watching where they're goin---. I stop talking to my self when I look down and see the most gorgeous girl in my life. I snap out of my haze when I see her going for her keys. Uh no no no.
          "No. Let me get those for you darlin'." I say to her and watch her visibly tense up. I suddenly notice the way she tenses up and when she looks up the red tint of her cheeks. I bend down and grab them quickly.
"Uhh, tha..thanks." I hear her stutter. I start to chuckle under my breathe. She finally gives me eye contact and may I say she's got gorgeous eyes. Damn it, snap out of it Remington. You can't pursue anything with her. I hear an altercation to my right and look over but when I look back the girl disappeared. Wtf where'd she go. I start looking around but it's like she puffed out of thin air.

                      - Elayne's POV. -

              Omg did I just stutter? I haven't stuttered since maybe 3rd grade. I have to get out of here. I watch him turn his head while being distracted by the altercation. This is my chance I thought. I run to the nearest store in my eyesight.
             "Are you okay miss?" A salesperson asks me. I look at him and smile.
               "I'm wonderful thank you." I say to him while searching around the store until I know the coast is clear. I start looking around until I feel a presence behind me.
"Why'd you run away so fast darlin'?" I hear that voice again. I turn around and gap at him. Oh lord how did he find me this quick.
"N-no reason. I'm j-just on a busy schedule." I want to face palm myself. I look up and see him smirking.
"It's just you forgot something." He says with a hint of amusement while holding up my keys. This time I literally did face palm. How could anyone forget their keys. Elayne stop talking to yourself and grab the keys before you forget again. I go to grab them until he withdraws them out of my reach.
"What do you say?" The guy I don't even know the name to asks.
"What do you mean what do I say? They are my keys. Hand them over. NOW." I say while getting loud and a bit annoyed after each seconds.
"Oh feisty.. I like it. " he says again. He grabs my hand and puts the keys into my hand.
"Okay well I have to go. I have other things to do. Thank you for grabbing them and bringing them with you. I guess see you around then." I say while rambling out words.
"Oh darlin' you will." He says with that smirk on his face.
