"Shh, p-please just s-stay quiet.."
The ginger man whispered holding his small tan and white furred dog close to him. He was shaking and the dog was too. The power was off and he couldn't remember when it had gone out. He didn't want to remember. A small grumble echoes through the halls of Yogtowers. The dog whimpers but Simon tried to keep him quiet.
"Mandrew, p-please stay q-quiet..." Simon couldn't help but start to cry himself, trying to keep silent of course. The question of course on everyone's mind being, what started all of this? What was even going on? Well from what everyone has collected over years of experience with different video games and books, this definitely looked like the worst possible thing.
Zombies..
It started with the news, an emergency broadcast.
~TOXIC RADIATION SPILL~HUNDREDS DEAD~ZOMBIE OUTBREAK~
But they never thought it would hit them so fast, and they never thought they would break into Yogtowers of all places. But it happened and I think everyone will remember when the first one broke into the building, it broke through the doors. Everyone scattered. Huddled and afraid.
There was a knock at Simon's door and Simon whimpers. The door opens and Lewis and Duncan step in. "Simon, pst, it's just us." Lewis whispers. "Lewis!" Simon shouts jumping up and hugging him. "Simon not so loud.." Duncan warns, taking a hug from Simon as well.
"Oh thank god you two are alive." He whispers. Mandrew barks in return. "Hush Mandrew please." Simon whispers. "Simon what is Mandrew doing here? You know Tom has allergies." Lewis says. "I wasn't about to leave him at home with all these zombies about. He can't get hurt Lewis he's all I have." Simon responds.
"Tom is dead Lewis.." Duncan whispers. Lewis holds his head. "Ugh, it's just the begging of all of this we can't lose numbers already.." "Wait what about Kim and Hannah? Sjin and Sips? The Hats?" Simon asks worried.
"Sips protected Sjin and I saw him take Sjin and barricade them both in the Hat office, and The Hats didn't come into work today, I really hope they're okay.." Lewis says.
"And I saw Hannah grab Kim and drag her into her office, I think we should go get them. Then we can sneak down stairs to my van, try to head over to Hat Films' place, make sure they're okay. Maybe once we're there Trott, Sips, and I could setup some sort of makeshift Wi-Fi spot to get a message out to the public. Try to get help maybe?" Duncan says.
"Okay that sounds like a plan. Your of course coming with, right Simon?" Lewis asks. Simon nods. "Of course." "Then here," Duncan says handing Simon a knife. "Your going to need this." Simon looked at it for a moment. "I don't want this, give it to Kim or Sjin. I don't really feel comfortable with it, plus I've got Mandrew to protect me." He said handing it back.
"Well okay then friend, but you're going to need to learn to defend yourself one day." Lewis says. "We should go get the girls first, I bet Sjin and Sips can handle themselves a bit better." Duncan whispers. "Okay then let's get going." Simon says. Duncan leads, Lewis, Simon, and Mandrew following behind.
They all slowly make there way to Hannah's room. Duncan knock gently on there door. It opens a small bit and a knife is thrown out. Swinging right past Lewis' face and sticking into the wall with a quiet 'thunk'. "Woah." Lewis shrieks. Hannah sticks her head out the door. "Lewis?" She whispers. Lewis nods. "Get in here you guys." Hannah says opening the door and pulling them all in. She grabs the knife out of the wall and closes the door behind her.
"I'm so glad you guys are okay." Hannah says. "Hey where is Kim?" Simon asks. A small whimpering is heard. Hannah walks over to the side of the room and bends down, she pulls up Kim who seems to be crying a bit. "She got scratched a bit, but not by a zombie. She fell down on the way in here."
