I woke up his morning to find a plate of french toast, orange juice, syrup, honey, and a hot cup of coffee. I see sunlight streaming in through the window. I wonder how late I slept. I get up and walk into the kitchen with my plate of untouched breakfast. I see Nikki and Olivia sitting at he table and talking to eachother.
I walk right past them. I open the door and walk around and then I see Sonic. He has some flowers with him.
"Hey. Good Morning Violet." He says.
"Good morning Sonic." I reply.
"These are for you." He hands me he flowers.
"Thank you, do you want to share my breakfast with me?"
We sit across from eachother on the back porch which is huge and has many tables. We talk and laugh. Sonic sees Nikki and Olivia spying on us...
"There are two people watching us."
"Those are just my two best friends."
Nikki and Olivia hear my thought train saying : ' come outside and meet Sonic.'
" Hi, my name is Nikki. " she said shaking hands with Sonic who said his.
" Hello, my name is Olivia. Glad to finally meet the boy that Violet thought about ....."
'Don't say a word about my dreams and yearnings for him.' she heard my thought train.
We all talked about ourselves and Sonic left after an hour and a half of talking.
" Wow Violet, He's a great match for you." Nikki said.
"I like him, he's way better than Shadow." Olivia agreed.
"Thanks. Olivia why would you tell him that I yearn and crave him? "
" I guess its because I wouldn't be lying."
"Fair enough."
"Well not what do we do? " Asked Nikki.
"Why don't we go swimming? " Olivia and I said in unison.
We have a pool in the house and on the deck. We went swimming outside. We squirted eachother with water and we raced eachother. We had a good time. We spent most of he day in the pool. Then we read books and had a lunch break. Then we went back into the pool until dinner time.
I didn't feel like eating. So again I took my food outside and tried to eat underneath the stars. Sonic ran right past then stiled and backed up.
" Hey, are you going to eat that?"
"Hi. I don't know. If you want some you can have some."
We both ate in silence. I spread my avian wings that I had but never showed to anyone.
"Wow. Why didn't you tell me that you had wings? "
"It wasn't the right time to tell you."
" Could you fly up to the roof. I'll meet you there."
I nodded once and we were on the roof in seconds. The stars were so beautiful. His eyes glittered a dark green that was speckled with white. He stared deep into my now mood changing eyes. They were glowing a blue purple.
" I.... I think... I love you."
" I think... I love you to."
We kissed. Long and blissful. I felt beautiful and happy. I felt love in the way he kissed me so passionately. I kissed back with the same passion. The stars seemed to shine brighter and I opened my eyes when he let me breathe. I could tell he knew that we both loved eachother.
