Alexia's pov

"Miss Gold?" I heard someone say making me snap my head up from looking out the window of one of my dad's many private jets.

"Yes?" I asked as my eyes fixed on my body guard Mike, or was his name Max? I can never remember.

"The plane will be landing soon so I need you to sit upright" he instructed making me roll my eyes as I sat up.

"It's only for your own safety" he reminded me as I felt the wheels of the plane hit the ground.

"I know, I know" I said under my breath as I stood up grabbed my purse and stepped off the plane to be met with dozens of camera flashes.

I put on my best fake smile as more body guards cleared a walk way for me to get into the car waiting for me to take me to my home, the White House as everyone else calls it.

"Welcome back Alexia" Maryann one of our house keepers chirped as she saw me walk through the door.

"Thank you" I said flashing her my signature smile as I continued walking towards my dads office.

"Hello sweetheart" I heard my dads voice ring as the guards opened the doors of his office for me.

"How was your trip?" My mom asked sitting on the chair adjacent to my dads desk.

"It was great, I wish I could have stayed longer though" I complained.

"You can always go back to Calabasas in a few weeks" my mom said

"I know" I said "it's just that Niall is going to be starting college soon and he's not going to have time to hang out anymore"

"He's been your best friend for as long you can remember, I'm sure he will make time for you" my dad said.

It's true Niall and I have been best friends for as long as either of us can remember. We grew up as neighbors in our preppy and way too expensive neighborhood in Calabasas, California. His parents and my parents met at the home owners meeting sixteen years ago and our family's have been friends ever since.

"You know Niall's getting pretty cute don't you think?" My mom asked, it's always been her's and Niall's mom's dream for us to marry each other so that they could become 'sisters' even though Niall and I's relationship is strictly friendly.

"You know I only like Niall as a friend" I rolled my eyes as I heard my phone buzz in my hand.

"Hello?" I answered stepping out of my dads office and walking towards my room.

"Yes miss Gold, it's Chris Grayson" he said "do you think you can come down to my office, we have something we need to discuss"

"Umm sure" I said even though all I wanted to do was lay in bed and watch a movie.

Chris Grayson is the head of security in the White House, I've known him for about four years now and he's been a good family friend over the years.

"Ah it's nice to see you Alexia" Chris said as I walked through the doors of his office.

"You too" I said sitting in one of the chairs across from his desk.

"Well as you probably know your in need of another body guard-" he said

"What happened to Mike?" I asked

"Who?" Chris asked furrowing his brow in confusion.

"Or was his name Max?" I asked "I can never remember"

"Marcus, his name was Marcus" Chris said chuckling a little.

"I was close" I said checking the time on my phone.

"Anyways, your replacement security guard should be here tomorrow morning" Chris said "please be nice to this one, and don't scare him off like you do to the others"

"I'll try not to" I laughed as I stood up and left his office.

Normally I don't bother remembering my body guards names because they only last for a few weeks until they either quit or request a transfer. Let's just say I don't like body guards and I make sure they know it.

I finally reach my room to see that my luggage has been dropped off for me.

I opened the drawers of my dresser and pulled out a simple light pink silk nightgown that reached an inch or two under my butt and changed into it and climbed into my large bed.

I opened the Twitter app on my phone and scrolled through to see many pictures of myself and Niall in Calabasas that the paparazzi had taken of us.

People have speculated for years that we're dating, but in reality were honestly just extremely close friends.

I got bored so I decided to post a tweet.

@ Alexiagold - I feel so jet lagged right now, but it was so worth it to spend the week with my best friend😘

I tagged Niall's account and posted a picture along with it off us on his dad's yacht.

I looked through the comments after I posted it and even replied to a few people. Unlike most people that are in the spotlight a lot, I don't get a lot of hate from people online.

The whole world see's me as America's sweetheart, so they don't really have anything to hate on me for.

Of course there's always people that don't like me because they say I'm 'spoiled' or a 'brat'. There probably right about the spoiled part, I can't help it that I was raised that way.

I sighed to myself and tossed my phone across my large bed and flicked off the bedside lamp letting myself fall into a deep sleep.

You probably recognize at least one of those people, Alexia's mom is Andrea Parker who also plays the role as Alison's mom in the show Pretty Little Liars.

The president or Alexia's dad in the story is played by Gerard Butler who plays the president in the movie Olympus Has Fallen.

Chris Grayson's character is man that plays Ophelia's dad in the show The Royals.

Anyways I hope you guys like the book so far! I know it's only the first chapter but It would mean the world to me if you guys could like and comment your thoughts about this story even if they aren't nice comments I would honestly love your guys feed back.

Also all the boys will be in the book just some will come in the next couple chapters.
