Chapter three

Dang it, I'm overslept this morning! I drag my suitcase as my gray pigtails flip onto the shoulder. My orbs zoom in the school building as I see an female in her thirties give me a death glare.
Oh crap, its my geometry educator. As the lady repeatedly taps her left feet, signaling that she's waiting for me to say my excuse, I sigh as I just said,"I overslept" as she slaps my cheeks, making my short figure slip to the ground.
"What a stupid excuse, your a freshmen already! Go straight to my classroom now Alela Grora, education is the will-spirit for a smart thinker." She growls as I reply a gomensai(sorry) and head to her classroom.
Geez, this is so embarrassing, being late for like fifteen minutes is enough then an absent record. I gotta make the school year exciting like those shoujo mangas that everyone would read in the library. But this isn't exciting, it's embarrassing, totally the opposite of what I am aiming for.
I trip in front of the slide door, thank god not in front of class as I fluff my skirt so it's clean and slide the door open. I can see Alter and Arbus snickering as I ignore their presence, shoving myself into the chair. The whole class is staring at me, I know these consequences for being late. Even more the sensei comes back in, starts bickering about how students shouldn't end up like me. Dang it, this isn't a good time to have fun about.

Brrrrzzzzing! The bell rings as I rise up from my seat, cleaning my desk so it looks neat. I stare at Kcalb as he begins to disappear in front of my eyes. I try running up to him but I couldn't run as well today. Feeling exhausted as I left the room, I begin trying to call out his name.
"Kcalb! Let's meet up at the rooftop at lunch!"
      I can see him turning his head towards my direction as a little shade of pink flusters on his cheeks. I raise my chin up, giving a smirk as a reply as he walks in his class. I check my schedule, seeing that I need to go to Physical Education. I can see the students starting to vanish in their classes as my feet tempos speeds up. This is what I get for getting into an honors class, having to go to the first floor from the second and dash outside the building where the trees' leaves begins to collapse and finally going into a small building that is label, gym. I can hear the bells start yelling as a signal of class starting, luckily I reach the gym on time. I can see few students had change their gym clothes, walking with their friends around the running track. I dash into the girl's locker room, can't waiting till lunch time.

"I miss Lord Kcalb's lap......" A cat-female girl yawns, her long, white hair dazzle in the outdoor lights.
"It's okay Alter, we'll get to lay on his lap after school." A dark-short hair cat-girl assure the girl named Alter.
I see my gentle hands, clinging on the school wall as the two little cat girls isn't noticing me at all. I know spying isn't a right thing to do, but those two cats doesn't look like angels. It so suspicious, having to see who they really are. Ever since, I have a crush who's name Lost. Sure, he's a demon but he's pretty nice, and I had to say, I even risk my life to see that demon. It saddens me that I barely get to see him, it's something that this world should fix. Sometimes, we would go on a secret picnic trip into the wildness or even make apple pie. All those moments is precious to me, if only the rulers of this world didn't hate each other. If only, I as Ciel, can rather become a demon instead of an angel. If only, we both meet up again.
...
"Psh, Arbus look...." I whisper to my twin, white ear cat, "An angel is spying on us......"
"Mhm, and you know what we should do to that poor angel." Arbus whispers back, making me feel a bit scared.
"But, what happen if Lord Kcalb finds out about it?"
"Ater, it's just a little fun and besides, it won't hurt with one angel. She probably gonna know that we're demon-cats."
"Alright then." I sigh as I can see the little angel disappears, "The angel is gone Arbus."
"Maybe next time, we can equip our weapons..." She replies with a poker face, "I know next time we gonna fight them..."

A chime of noise rings my ears as the bell starts ringing. I push myself up, along with the other students as they scramble in the crowds, leaving me with a confuse response. I look at the clock that pass by me as I remember that words Etihw had tell me about. My feet starts moving as I keep my pace, dodging other students that try to go wherever they need to. I spot the stairs, as enter there and walk according to what the ground guides me. I soar high above where I start from, as I realize I made it to the rooftop. My stomach growls, begging for some taste of food as I check on my right hand, not seeing my grey bento. The heart beats fast insides me as I panic, trying to remember where my bento is. The door suddenly opens as I see Etihw giving me a question look, seeing me going in circles.
      "What took you so long, did anything happen?" She chuckles as my face fluster with embarrassment.
  "N-Nothing is wrong with me....." I reply, not looking at the girl's face as my stomach begins to growl.
"I see, your hungry, where's your bento?"
"It's Wodahs's bento and I'm not hungry."
Growling noises starts erupting from my stomach.
"Your stomach didn't go with your anwser...."
"I-I'm not hungry..."
When I stammer and lie to Ethiw, a hi-chew suddenly comes flying at my face. I snatch it quickly before it hits my face. The female gives a smirk and a one-eye wink as I mumble in reply. I look at the strawberry piece of hi-chew as I unwrap the sweet, plopping it in my mouth.
   "So..., do you like the Hi-chew Kcalb?" Ethiw asks, getting a closer look at my face.
"I-It's not too bad...." I reply with a normal face, actually loving the gum.
  "Well, let's go get some fresh air at the outer part of the rooftop, shall we?" She grins as she opens the door, stretching her arms up in the sky.
...
"Big brother left his bento in the bushes...." I murmur as I dump the old food from yesterday into the trash can. My pink, white bunny apron flows within the scene as I wash my hands in the cooking class. I glance at the fridge as I open it, seeing some leftover ingredients lying there, standing perfectly still.
   "I should make some chocolate pudding for brother and then ochazuki for myself." I whisper to myself as I grab the ingredients in the fridge and cabinet.
   I roll up my sleeves as I grab a cutting board and chop the chocolates into pieces with a serrated knife. I take a large heat-proof bowl and pour choco powder, corn starch and salt as I whisk the ingredients together. I crack some eggs, pouring it to the bowl as I whisk the egg with the creamed mixture. As the whisk the ingredients together, I suddenly hear a knock in response. I ignore the noise, as I pour the milk into a saucepan. The door slides as I hear a familiar voice.
    "Hey Head Chef! Whatcha cooking?" The figure greets as I get annoyed with the nickname.
  "I'm just making chocolate pudding for my brother..." I respond with a blank face. That girl, why can't she be with the other God?
  "Heeeeey, so where's Ethiw? I haven't seen her, must be because of your brother." The grey pigtail girl starts blabbing, her eyes narrow at my hands.
"How should I know, I don't stalk that girl at all....." I mumble, wanting Grora to go away.
The girl stands there, watching me silently as I pour the other ingredients into the saucepan. I let out a sigh, wiping the little melted chocolate as I take a glance at the clock. She then starts tapping her left foot, making it harder for me to concentrate on cooking.
    "Head Chef is so boring,but here. Let me help you cook the chocolate pudding...."
"I shouldn't trust you, your always too lousy and that irritates me."
  "Well, your all quiet and boring. It isn't fun having to come up with the subjects."
"Well, I'm cooking so you should quiet down, miniature girl...."
  "So what if I'm small, I can at least beat you at......."
   "......"
"......at cooking!"
"Show me that your better at cooking."
"Then let me cook Head chef!"
"Fine......" I sigh, passing the saucepan to Grora as her whole body starts flowering with dokie sand flowers.
   I look around the kitchen, realizing that I should make some ochazuki before lunch break is over.

Listen up Shebert, it's time to make new friends. My eyes narrow on the concrete, as I try approaching two guys, one with baby blue hair and white wings and another with auburn hair and big, silver wings. My feet begins to move, coming closer to the two guys until........brrrrzzzzinnnggggg.! The bell starts screaming as the two angels start going to a different location. I exhale with panic as I freeze with a surprise look. It seems, today isn't a good day to start out with. My scarf starts hovering on my shoulders, letting me gasps the insight of the outdoors. I smile as the flower petals starts blowing away, creating a beautiful scenery. If only, someone is there to be my friend, then I would've been in a happier space instead of the word lonely. I cover my eyes from the sun as I walk back into the school.
...
"OH NO, I'M GONNA FAIL THIS TEST!!!!!!!" I scream in panic as my friend Ciel tries to calm me down.
"It's okay Rigatona, the test is easy so you must've pass...!"
"P-Pass, I thought we never learn those questions....."
"Oh, we did learn it.!"
I wasn't in good shape and it's all because of school. It's hard to settle in peace especially when I took a test and that the blonde say it was easy. I mean, I forgot the events of the American Revolution, how am I gonna pass the test? That is, unless my guessing skills is amazing.
   A tap of a hand touches my shoulder as the evil, innocent being looks at me with a smile of death.
  "Rigatona, your not allow to phrase anything about the history test.!" The teacher yells in a high pitch with a huge smile.
I look at her with a poker face as Ciel starts bowing at her with a apologizing response as the sensei starts heading towards a different classroom. My heart stammer with relief, noting that I may die from punishment. We both starts heading for our classes until an adult bump into us.
  "Oh, hey you two, can you guys deliver these packages to these educators on this paper?" The man questions, holding a clipboard and a cart full of boxes,"I'll let your teachers know that so that you guys can have a free period helping me."
   "Deal!" I stated with a thumbs up and a smile. Ciel nods as she grabs the cart full of boxes and starts telling me to get the clipboard. I did as I was told, as I grab the clipboard and a pen from the man as he bows and disappears. We both walk into different classrooms, giving out the packages as the last class starts passing by. As about 45 minutes pass by, the bell starts ringing.
   "We did it, we finish the man's request.!" Ciel answers with an accomplished face.
"Um Ciel, can you hang out with me after school today?" I tell her, hoping she says yes.
"S-Sorry..., I have someone I suppose to visit..." She reply with a sorry look, looking at the clock nearby us, "Oh, it's time for me to get there, bye Rigatona!"
"Uh, bye!"
The sudden words hits me hard as I gasp the pain inside me. It must be because, most of the time, that girl would hang out with that person. But, who's that person? I really want to meet that person, at least become their friend.
I suddenly see Ciel disappear as I look up. "No, I'm gonna meet that person."
Secretly, I follow Ciel outside the school as I check to see if the coast is clear. Her wings starts fluttering, making a flight to somewhere as I fly too. I can see her expression sparkles, as she starts dripping into the ground as I went along too. I open my palms, looking at myself.
"Should I be doing this or not?" I whisper to myself as I blink in reply, "Yes I should be doing this."
I can see a person that Ciel running towards to, but that person makes me angry and vicious at the same time. That person.........is a demon and Ciel shouldn't be doing this. My hands clutch with a furious aura as hands suddenly covers my mouth, taking me away from the horrible scene.
"You shouldn't be here...." The person's voice states.
