"I can't believe I'm finally here...back in Gravity Falls. " I plopped down backwards onto my old, dusty, and once temporary bed, letting my bags drop by my feet.
"Better believe it, Pine Tree. "
I just chuckled.
Of course he would show up right now.
I sat up with a sigh,
"Hi Cipher... " I responded with no tone used particularly.
"Hello, kid! ~" The demon welcomed warmly.
"... So why so early? Couldn't you have been messing with Ford or Mabel? Not me. " I really didn't want to deal with him right now. I had just arrived late after my plane got canceled and I was stuck at the airport.. Alone. Mabel had drove to town and got here before me because of it.
"All in good time.~" I rolled my eyes.
"I just wanted to tell you Congrats on graduating!" I began to suspect foul play up ahead.
This is not normal....
"You're starting to scare me.. " I leaned back some.
"Awww. Don't be like that Pine Tree! ~" He floated down to my shoulder before taking a sit on the mattress.
"I'm not going to let my guard down again Bill." I shot him a cold hearted stare.
"Oh I know that by now. But I just thought my favorite symbol would like a gift.~"
"W.. What kind of gift?" I questioned him cautiously.
"A 'cool' one! I promise ya!"
"I don't take a demon's word all too seriously. " I keep quiet when he began to stare at me with a unamused expression. I slowly moved my gaze from his, moving mine to the floor, an uneasy feeling in my stomach.
"You need to learn when to keep your mouth shut... "
Is he about to go on a rampage again like last time?
"Of course not... For now... I just want to get this over with, okay?"
"Alright. So what is it you want to give me so badly?" I folded my legs up onto my bed while crossing my arms, turning in the small yet deadly triangle.
"Lean in closer and I'll show you.~"
I hesitated to do so, but then saw nothing wrong with it.
Nothing very wrong with it anyway...
"Look here, kid~" When I was hunched over about two feet from his body, he pulled out a small, cork, jar filled with some kind of slimy, transparent liquid.
"What is that stuff?" I asked him, curious.
"It's a secret~" I looked at him confused. He gave me an understanding look,
"It comes from deep within the core of Earth. " His hand glided across the top, not stopping. But I should have been paying more attention.
"How is that even pos- AAAAHHhhh!!" I was cut off before I could even finished. I winced in pain as I gripped my right eye.
What the hell!!??
My eye was on fire unlike anything I had ever felt before. I could hear Bill laughing as I fell to my side.
"Now the fun part can commence!! ~"
"What are you talking about?!" I managed to open one of my eyes to see Bill hovering above me. Staring down like if I was a carcass on the side of the road and he was a vulture.
"You're going to love it once we get there! ~" I struggled to get out of his grip as he made blue, snake like chains wrap around me.
"What do you think you're doing!? "
"Making sure you don't try and run, of course! ~" He stated like if it was obvious.
"What the heck was really in that jar?! " I yelled to be answered without question.
"I think you'll find it more interesting once the effects take place. "
"What effects..? " The pain in my eye started to cease, so I opened it barely to get a better view of Bill.
"You'll see~" He seemed to have a grin plastered on, but it couldn't be seen.
