On this windy Thanksgiving day there a group of astrological signs preparing their feast for tonight. And when I mean preparing I mean only Virgo and her brother were cooking in the kitchen while the rest of the signs were at the nearby park playing football. Although it was nice since it was finally quiet in the house and the Virgos had some quality family time.
"I can't believe these f*ckers left me with the cooking", Virgo grumbled.
"Hey I'm here helping too!", Eli complained, half jokingly to cheer up his sister. Virgo sighed.
"Yeah I know.. I'm glad you came up around this time too. I'm happy to be with my brother again", Virgo said in a sincere tone hugging her brother. Eli had held his beloved sister close and petted her head.
"I knew you'd be stressed out on Thanksgiving that's why I thought I'd come by, so don't worry", Eli quickly kissed his sister's forehead and the two virgin signs went back to work.
Just about an hour later, the rest of the signs burst through the door and air filled silence quickly left the house. Cancer and Pisces felt bad leaving the Virgos with all the work, so they decided to pitch in. Pisces quickly finished one of the side dishes with complete pride filling within him. Leo and Gemini looked over to see it was brussel sprouts!
"WTF BruSSel sPRouTS?!", Leo yelled in confused anger.
"C'mon Pisces get your sh*t together! Don't bring this crap into Thanksgiving!", Gemini added along. Eli looked at Pisces with a concerned looked and nodded in agreement with the other signs and threw away the brussel sprouts. Pisces ran upstairs crying that his accomplishment was thrown away and Cancer having to follow him to calm him down.
At the mean time, Sagittarius came back from the store with a tower of pies in his arms.
"Sag!! Why do you have this many pies?!", Virgo shouted.
"Let's be real: There's thirteen of us and we all know Taurus is going to eat half of this stack okay", Sagittarius sassed back and went straight to the kitchen.
Once all the food was finally finished, all the signs gathered around the table ready to say grace.
"Okay, so who's going to say grace?", Aquarius asked.
"I volunteer as tribute, I have a few things I'd like to say I'm thankful for", Scorpio gets up and begins to speak.
"Thank you Jesus for everything you have given us. I am thankful for giving us netflix", Scorpio gradually speaks.
"Well I'm actually thankful for the food", Taurus scoffs.
"When are you not?", Gemini joins in.
"Yeah, you're even thankful for the burnt crumbs at the bottoms of a bag of chips", Aries added.
"Now c'mon guys that's enough", Scorpio said ending the arguments.
"Thanks-"
"We already know how much of a fat ass Taurus is", Scorpio added cutting off Taurus. Taurus glares at him then looks at the plate of cherry pie that looked so tempting to throw at Scorpio. Luckily Eli leaned by him and threatened him that if he threw it he'd make sure Virgo would be pissed at him.
Afterwards the signs finally feasted on their food. Their table covered with turkey, pies, stuffing, mashed potatoes, ham, cranberry sauce, and many more. Although through the entire rush, Capricorn was upstairs in his room taking a nap trying to sleep off the pain of spraining his ankle when they were playing football earlier.
As soon as he woke up, he went rushing downstairs (even with a sprained ankle) to see if there's still food left. Some of the signs were still at the table, some went to their rooms, and Leo was out cold on the couch drunk. Capricorn limped towards the kitchen but was stopped by Aquarius. She handed him a plate with tin foil covered on top of it. Cap looked up at her surprised at the sudden kindness.
"Just go upstairs and eat, you still need to rest", she said patting the Capricorn and walks back to the table continuing her conversation with Eli. Cap just stares at her and huffs. He turns around to go upstairs to his bedroom.
Walking down the hallway to his room, Cap notices someone's door was open hearing whispers. Cap stops by Libra's room to see that the room is completely dark with the only light source being the computer screen.
"Um hey Libra, whatcha up to?", Cap questions with a little hesitation. Libra slowly turns around with eyes filled with determination and a completely serious face.
"Black Friday. Must be prepared", were the only words that left Libra's mouth in a low tone and he goes back to the computer screen. Capricorn notices a baseball bat next to his desk and quickly hurries back to his room.
