Welcome to Erigate High School

Chapter 1

Dan Howell was far from popular, I mean sure he had a few friends, but that was really it. His nerdy features didn't seem to pop out well during his elementary and middle school years at school. His mum had found a new job near this new highschool, a place named Erigate High. Dan was devastated to leave his old school, he had recently joined the Pokemon fan club. As Thanksgiving break rolled around the corner, Dan packed his things and moved houses. He looked out the window behind him, seeing his old house and life fade away.

   As he unpacked his things in his brand new home, he noticed a large group of people. Dan, being almost six feet tall, looked over the large group to see a boy in the middle. He had slick black hair. His eyes were shades of blue and a light green, Dan couldn't even figure out what color they were. The boy had a nose ring and flat black earrings. He looked a little intimidating, the boy never seemed to smile the whole time Dan looked at him.

Dan could hear the crowd start to cheer a name, but he couldn't tell what they were saying. Dan looked around, then dropped the box he was holding and started to walk toward the group slowly. As he got closer, he could hear what they were saying,

"Phil! Phil! Phil!" The boy with the punk features managed to calm them down.

"Guys come on, the neighborhood is going to kill you guys if you are too loud, I'm not going to stop them either." The boy said.

"Oh come on Phil, lighten up!" A girl said, looking at the boy. So that's him, that's Phil. Dan thought to himself, he managed to tip toe back to the car to help his mum unpack. As he was carrying boxes inside his new house, he was excited to go to Erigate High School. He was eager to meet new people, and more importantly, to meet new friends.

Dan went into his new room, apparently the people who lived before him had painted the wall black. Dan sighed, he wished the wall was white, black seemed too dark for him. Dan jumped on his bed and pulled out his 3DS, inserting Pokemon X.

"I will find a Dratini this time, Dragonite shall be mine!" He said, starting up his game. Dan heard cracking noises, he thought it was his DS so he stopped playing for a minute and turned it off. After he turned it off, he realized it wasn't the DS, that the noise kept coming. Dan looked around his room until he saw a glob of yellow goo on his window. He saw eggs being thrown at his window.

"What the heck?" Dan said, he never really was one to swear.

Dan ran downstairs to see what the commotion was about. As he opened the front door, he saw the group of kids that he had saw before. He knew it was them because he saw Phil behind them all, looking up at Dan's egged window.

"Go away! You bullies!" Dan shouted. The crowd laughed at him as Dan crossed his arms.

"Oh look, a new kid. Hey Phil! What do you want us to do with him?" A boy said, he was as tall as Dan, which somewhat terrified him. Everyone looked at Phil. Phil examined Dan, looking at him head to toe.

"I say let's just leave him, you guys are so boring. I'm gonna leave now, bye." Phil said and left. The crowd stared at me, then turned to run after Phil. Dan gazed in amazement at what had just happened, rarely anyone had stuck up for him. As Dan went back inside his house, he eagerly waited for school to start again. He would become the best of friends with the boy who hadn't teased him, unlike the other people, Phil.
