November 2013

(Niall's POV)

After days, days, and days, I still cannot get Elena Styles off my mind.

This is literally killing me, I'm sitting here at my desk in my work office, thinking of a random girl. I should be working on the paper work for the new hotel, but instead I'm thinking of some way to see her again.

I don't know if it just her looks that I am obsessing over, because she has to be the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. I rub my handover my eyes stressing over how I just called her beautiful, I don't think I ever referred to a girl as beautiful before, I only ever called them hot or sexy. However, she is all of that though.

My thoughts are interrupted by a knock. Louis walks in, in a new dark blueish suit- Gucci? I'm guessing, but I'm kind of thrown off by the noticeable hickey on his neck.

"Niall, are you done with the paper work? Dave Thompson from Sydney just called checking on the contract," he ask, taking a seat in the chair in front of my desk.

I'm taken off guard and look down at my desk where the contract laid. Even though I read this contract a bunch of times this past week an a half, I cannot recall a damn thing that it said since my mind is clouded with Elena. However, I do recall that I didn't see any problem with it, so I quickly sign it and hand it over to Louis. Louis then flips through the papers and sign where his signature is suppose to be place.

"Lou, I take it that you're still seeing that Styles guy?" Louis' attention turned directly towards me the moment he heard Styles come out of my mouth.

"I- yeah, I think he's different," He sighs, I raise an eyebrow in confusion. "I just never felt this way about someone in a long ass time, and I feel like there's something there, you know what I mean?" He questions me, when he knows that I have no clue what the feeling of loving or having an interest in someone feels like.

"No," I blankly said.

He shakes his head and chuckles as he begins to stand up, "I almost forgot, Niall Horan isn't capable of love and romance."

As Louis pulls the door slightly open, "Mate, the day you fall for some girl, I pray that you won't break her because you won't know what to do," before I could rebuttal "prove me wrong," he adds and walks out.

(Elena's POV)

"Elena! Try again!" Liam shouts at me, once again.

I rolled my eyes and start to dance with my partner to the same beat, to the same steps for the thousandth time. I'm praying that this time I actually do something right so I don't have to deal with him later about this. Thinking out Loud begins to play, and I become more nervous than I was.

Even though this week we're skipping the usual costume and dance of Moulin Rouge, to a more elegant theme- where we dance for show and then people from the audience get to pick one of us to dance with.

When the song ends, I turn to Liam who is staring just at me. I can never read his expressions, so I can never tell with him. The only think I can read is actions and tone, when he's in a good mood, if he's going to yell at me, or especially when he is going to hurt me.

No one knows that Liam hurts me, physically and verbally. For over half of year that we have been dating has all been abuse. My older brother, Harry, introduced me to Liam when he announced that he was going to be the Co-Founder of the club, and wanted me to audition.
