Tessa POV,
The pilot is told from the perspective of Tessa. 300 years ago Tessa, Elijah, Rebekah and Klaus arrive in the French quarter near the Mississippi River in a voyage along with Finn and Cole daggered in their coffins. Along Tessa Mikealson, Oh yes that's me anyway I'm not a original vampire but I am a original witch because of my mother Esther. I love learning about magic spells and more by my mother teaching me.
In Present day New Orleans, Tessa coming back to New Orleans as she got a letter threatening her. Elijah leaves to find Rebekah coming back to New Orleans too. As she arrives their first to find that there aunt is dead, Megan also a witch tells her that she tried to do magic which is been banned in New Orleans by the coven, whom she was shocked to see alive as she thought Davina was dead. She meets Davina and other witches of the coven in the cemetery where the witches are buried and they tell her that her the witch called Megan to get rid of her because she was killing some witches in the coven,who were practising magic. Meanwhile, Tessa tries to help Justin return his memories after he has been compelled multiple times, along with Megan helps Tessa and tries to prove her trust. Megan plans ahead and starts to create new friendships so she could take over the coven. However, A witch finds Esther's grave and that night at the Street music festival at the cemetery the witch is then able to finish the ritual and she kills three other witches from the coven, but none of the four elderly witches resurrect. In the end, The witch, who really is Megan brings back three powerful witches for unknown reason.
