“Verily the best among you (to follow) is my generation (the Messenger Muhammad (SAW) and his Companions (RA), then those who follow, and then those who follow them…” (Saheeh Muslim, Book: the Virtues of the Sahaabah, chapter 52 hadeeth #2535)
From Ibn Qatadah that Musa (AS) said:"My Lord! I find in the Tablets the mention of an Ummah (Nation) which is the best of Ummah's ever created for the guidance of mankind'who enjoins good and forbids wrong. My Lord! Make them my Ummah." Allah Subhanah(The Most Glorious) said: "They are the Ummah of Ahmad."
Then he said: "My Lord!I find in the Tablets the mention of an Ummah who will be the last of people, and the first to enter Paradise.My Lord! Make them My Ummah." Allah Subhanah said:"They are the Ummah of Ahmad."
Musa then said:"My Lord! I find in the Tablets the mention of an Ummah whose Scriptures are in their hearts when they recite.Those before them, could only read their Book by looking at them, and when they closed their Book they could not read it, nor know it.They are capable of memorizing it when no people of the past could do it. My Lord! Make them My Ummah." Allah Subhanah said:"They are the Ummah of Ahmad."
Musa said Again: "My Lord! I find in the Tablets the mention of an Ummah who believe in the past Books and the last Book.They will fight against the wrongdoers, till they fight the Dajjal (One Eyed Liar;Anti-Crist). My Lord! Make them My Ummah." Allah Subhanah said:"They are the Ummah of Ahmad."
Then Musa said: " My Lord! I find in the Tablets the mention of an Ummah who could eat their Sadaqah (Charity), and still be rewarded.But before them, other people gave Sadaqah (Charity),and it was accepted ,Allah sent a fire which consumed it, and if it was left it was eaten by predators and wild birds. And this charity is designed to be taken from their rich to the poor.My Lord! Make them My Ummah." Allah Subhanah said:"They are the Ummah of Ahmad."
Musa said: " My lord! My Lord! I find in the Tablets the of an Ummah ,if one of them had an intention to do good, and he could not do it, he would get trhe rewards 1ten to seven hundred folds. My Lord! Make them My Ummah." Allah Subhanah said:"They are the Ummah of Ahmad."
Musa said:"My Lord! I find in the Tablets the mention of an Ummah who could intercede,and for whom intercession had been made.My Lord! Make them My Ummah." Allah Subhanah said:"They are the Ummah of Ahmad."
Qatadah said: Musa then threw the Tablets down, and said:"Oh Allah! Make me from the Ummah of Ahmad."

This show the status of Ahmad's (Muhammad) Ummah.Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala has raised this Ummah to a status that even the Prophet Musa (AS) would want to be part of.
﴾كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ﴿
Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Hurayrah commented on this Ayah, "(You, Muslims, are) the best nation of people for the people, you bring them tied in chains on their necks (capture them in war) and they later embrace Islam.''
