Chapter 8

I heard Liz stomping down the stairs, quickly, then the front door open and shut. Hearing the door slam shut, tears poured out of me. The pain of betrayal and rejection stabbed my heart repeatedly, and it was excruciating. Why did this shit have to happen to me? I have done nothing to no one and this shit happens.

I couldn't take the pain and so I left the house and transformed into my, red eyed, pure white wolf. I needed to run and I ran for thirty miles and finally reached the woods. I howled to the half moon my woes I've never cried this much ever.

After two hours of self pity I finally decided to head back. I am Alpha. I will move on and stand strong!

My tears began to cease more and more, minute after minutes. Next thing you know I hear sticks breaking. I wasn't alone. I stood up ready to attack and defend. It was a Were. Male. And he smelt of oak and honey, delicious. Once I realized that was practically drooling over the scent I couldn't believe it. Another mate.... The fuck! does fate hate me! Another mate here to reject me. Fate is a bitch I tell yah. I shook my head and kept my stance. Mate or not I was still had to keep my guard up.

"Who is there?" I growled

"No, I ask the questions. Who are you?" His British accent made my spine tingle. He was an alpha and I could feel it. So that means I must have crossed our board without notice.

"I am Naomi Esperanza Richardson, future Alpha of the Red Moon Pack"

"Oh Ms. Richardson, I've heard all about" he alpha steps out, reveals himself and my wolf was truly mesmerized by him and I didn't blame her. He was 6ft, caramel skin tone, a muscular figure, honey colored hair, and emerald green eyes. My wolf howled and the urge to want to jump that boy only intensified.  I wanted to taste him, he look absolutely delicious.

"Do I know you?" I said trying to keep my tone as professional as possible

"I mean you should. Not counting the fact that you are my beautiful mate, but we use to go to middle school together. You helped me learn english"

I sat and tried to remember. Itaughta lot of kids. Is itAlex?

"Alex?" I hope I'm right

"Yea! but let's skip the pleasantries. I'm Alexander Smith Alpha of the Blackhawk Pack. Why are you here and why were crying?" I could see his concern in his eyes. I wasn't going to let my emotions sway me.

"Oh you know.. The usual. mate reject me, best friend betrays me. Yup" looking at the ground, I tried to say as though it didn't phase me.

I looked up at him and he looked as though he was hurt by what I said.

"Who is he?"

"They-"

"They? You have more than one mate other than me?" He said almost as though he was angry

"Yes, They are.. Austin and Jake" saying their name made me of remember the rejections and the pains that shot through my heart made me want to cry again.

"Well Im sorry to hear that daring, but-"

"But what. Are you here to reject me too?" Omg I can't believe I just said that

"Alex Im sorry Ive just had a rough day, please forgive me"

"Darling, I know. I understand and no I am not going to reject you." he walked over to me, grabbed my hand and pulled me into him. I got an a tingle up my spine and my wolf howled in joy, being touched by another one of her mate was a dream. "Why would I you are gorgeous, no beautiful and I love you." My heart nearly jumped out of my chest. Next thing I knew Alex was looking at me with his sexy lustful green eyes. I couldn't look away. He kissed me so passionately all negative thoughts exited my mind. His lips were soft and to feel his body against mine make me want me to do unspeakable things to him.

We breaked from the kiss and then I thought I can live in happiness after all. But then my pack came into mind. How the hell is this going to fly with my dad?.... Fuck.
