Persia, Ace, and I ran to the campground. I was instantly horrified. So much blood spill. So much difference. Most of all, so much horror.

Persia grabbed me and ran to the cave.

She laid me down and explained why she took me back. She explained that she thought the violence would worry me and/or scare me. She explained that she couldn't take it.

"Mommy?" A voice meowed.

"Eurasia, why are you here?" Persia meowed.

A small ocelot kitten walked into the room.

"I don't know." She mewed.

Ace padded into the cave. In his teeth... Was my mom. Ace dropped her in front of me.

"Mommy, wake up! You're so silly." I giggled. How silly of my mom to be sleeping during a battle. I nuzzled my mom to wake her up. "Mommy! You're cold!"

I pushed my mom into my bed to warm her up. "You're heavy, Mommy." I laughed. Persia looked at Ace in horror. I had no clue why.

"Soul," Ace said. "Your mommy isn't sleeping. She won't ever wake up. She's..." Ace trailed off.

"Dead?" Eurasia mewed.

"Yeah." Ace whimpered.

I started to mournfully howl. Then, Ace joined in. Then, Persia and Eurasia began caterwauling. It was a long night.

"Ace," I whined. "What happened to Mommy?"

"After Persia brought you back here, I heard someone howl, "Full Moon's about to pounce!". There he was. A pure white wolf with a crazed look on his face. Everyone cleared out of the way... Except your mom. I howled to warn her. She looked up and saw Full Moon and began to sprint. Next thing I knew, a distressed howl. Full Moon stepped away. There was your mommy...dying." Ace said.

My mother's death started a very violent chapter of my life. I hated every white wolf. I wanted to kill every one of them. I thought they were all cold hearted. I was angry a lot. I couldn't help it. Eurasia was often accompanying me. It didn't help. I was a bit mad at Ace for not even mentioning my dad.

One snowy winter morning, I told Persia that I thought I was ready to go home. After all, the battle was over. Persia said she would consider it. Persia, Eurasia, and I padded back to the campground. It was deserted.

"Daddy?" I barked. My voice echoed. I waited. No reply. I was heartbroken. No sign of any life. Except a white wolf with a pack of other wolves. The Snow Pack and Full Moon. I charged at a wolf. The wolf's icy gaze warned me. I didn't pay attention. I was blinded by rage. The wolf kicked me directly in the stomach. I went flying backwards. I hit my head on one of the rocky dens and passed out.

I woke up in my room around midnight. Ace was in his room and Persia was at her cave. Eurasia was watching over me.

"Oh, goodie! You're finally awake!" She meowed.

"What happened to the wolf?"

"It won."

"You don't say?" I barked sarcastically.

A howl or two were heard not long after. Eurasia and I were the only ones to hear it. I peeked outside and saw the Snow Pack standing at the mouth of the cave. I was instantly boiling with fury. I took charge and avoided a swift paw and sliced the wolf in the neck. Deeply in the neck. The wolf's blood spilled on me the wolf began tottering. I pushed Eurasia out of the way. The rest of the wolf pack slunk back into the bushes

Ace and Persia came running to find the white wolf dead in a pool of blood. My claws were blood-soaked and the snow beneath the wolf was red. Eurasia and I were unharmed. The dead wolf's eyes were sightless and hazy. The wolf had blood spilling from its mouth as well as its neck. Eurasia licked me on the ear. Eurasia clung to me in fear. She was vigorously trembling. Next thing I know, Full Moon approached the cave. He was large and menacing. He shoved aside the dead body. I felt hatred rushing through my body again and I swung at Full Moon. He grasped my paw in his jaws and pressed. I howled in pain as blood began leaking from my wrist. I struggled, which only made it worse. Full Moon swung at my face and clawed me near the eye. Ace jumped out at Full Moon and sunk his claws deeper and deeper into Full Moon's jaw. Full Moon thrashed about. He eventuallly threw me out of the cave and I landed on my hip. And I HEARD it crack loudly. I saw black pavement beneath me and a bright light. Was i dying?
