Chapter 6

I Haven't talked to Jake Since that night we kissed, He texted me a couple times but i just ignored him. I don't want to be in a relationship right now and if i'm afraid i will end up Falling for him But the Question is Is he going to Catch me if i fall..? My last Boyfriend Taylor Cheated on me, I let him in and trusted him. I always let people walk all over me but Now I builed a wall.. I don't let Anybody in.

"Hey Mom" I said As i came in the living room.

"Hi, Do you want to do something today?" She asked

"Uhh..How about we go shoppingS?' We haven't gone shopping since we came here, I have been really busy with youtube stuff.

"Ok, get dressed" I ran upstairs Looking for something to wear.. 

30 minutes later.. I chose a short sleeve white royal t-shirt, Boyfriend Jeans and some Soshannah sandals From aldo. I also wore a bunch of colorful Bracelets And My raybands.

"Mom, I'm ready" I said as i came down the stairs. 

"You Look cute, Cmon pauls waiting" She said. We walked to the car and paul greeted us.

We went to 3rd Street Promenade. I Always Loved shopping here!

"Can we go to American Apparel?" I asked

"Sure" 

After we shopped for a while, My feet started hurting. I should've wore flats.

"Why did you even wear heels?" My mom asked

"Because it went really cute with my jeans" I replied. My mom just shook head and Laughed.

"You get all your fashion and beauty tips from me" She said

"Yes, I do. You have great style" I smiled at her.

"Do you want to get something to eat?"

"Yes, I'm starving" We found this really cute place called copadoro. We were waiting for our food to come when i got a text.

'I saw you today shopping, Are you ignoring me? I don't know what i did.' -Jake

I ignored it But then i got another text. Why can't he just leave me alone!?

'Can we talk please? Meet me at starbucks around 4' -Jake

'Fine' I replied and put my phone away. 

Our food arrived and we ate. It was really good. Mom went home and i went to starbucks. He was wearning a gray beanie With a hoodie and Raybands. He stood up when he saw me, It looked like he was going to give me a hug but i just sat down.

"Didn't think you were going to show up" He said

"Yeah, well i did" 

"Do you want anything to drink?" He asked.

"No, Thank you"

"Ok well are you going to tell me why you were ignoring me all week?"

"I was busy" I replied, But he didn't buy it.

"Look, I like you a lot. That Night when we kissed I felt something. Did you feel it too? Please say yes." He said I was shoked I just sat there frozen. I didn't know what to say.

"I-I did" I said Finally.

"Then why were you ignoring me" I sighed 

"Because My last boyfriend Cheated on me, I don't want to end up hurt again."

"I would Never do that to you, That guy was an idiot. Your beautiful in every way. Please give me a chance?" He looked at me with hope in his eyes. 

My Mind said No, But

My heart said Yes.

"Ok" I said.. I really hope he doesn't break my heart.
