2.Settle in

Lux's POV:

I woke up,finding myself in a quite luxurious place.Is this heaven?Am I dead? Suddenly there were shouts and screams of panic.I thought heaven was supposed to be a calm,peaceful place.Guess I was wrong.

"Where the heck are we?!",one person screams.

"What happened?!"

"Are we gonna die?!"

"We are if you don't shut up!".Everyone turn their faces towards me.I wonder who shouted that because it's certainly isn't me.However, they kept looking at me.Weirdos.

"If we want to find out why and how we're here we need to keep calm.",someone said calmly.I turn around and saw a blond haired boy who has this kinda gray eyes-he is probably around the age of 15.He's cute,so I kinda stared at him until he finish his speech of something like 'Everyone calm down,we're gonna find out who did this' and all that encouraging stuff.

Once speech guy finishes talking everyone starts to explore the heaven-like place,but I just sit on the couch,too tired to move.I felt my heart skip a beat when he sits next to me.

"Nice speech.",I said.

"Thanks".

I just smiled and him and he smiles at me too.

"Do you have any idea where we are?",I asked him.

"Well,when I check the windows it's covered in paper from the outside and the doors is locked so no, I don't know where we are,",he answered,"my name's Dylan".

"Nice name,I'm Lux".

"Why does your name reminds me of a shampoo?"

"It doesn't"

"It does"

"It doesn't"

"Fine,you win",I sighed.

"Yayyy! Do I get a cookie?",he questioned me."You get something much better",I said as his eyes sparked with curiosity,"you get to bake one".

"You know what you win, now go make a cookie",he said as I smirked knowing I've won,though I'm not going to bake cookies.

We sat there in silence as the air of awkwardness keeps getting thicker.It's like we're competing who can be the most silent.Finally,I broke the silence by asking Dylan whether he wants to explore the house or not.He agrees to go with me.Our first destination is kitchen because I said food is where you get energy from and people would die without it.He actually wants to go explore the toilet first.What a weirdo,what does he want there,a bubble bath?

In the kitchen we found food and not just any food.There's sweets,popcorns,chocolate and some plain old healthy vegetables.After that we checked the bedrooms.There are 3 bedrooms, each of them had 2 king-size beds,3 wardrobes and 2 bathrooms.It's like in a hotel.Who knows?,maybe we are actually in a hotel.One of the bedroom is painted blue and it has boys clothes in the wardrobes.The other one is painted brightly with pink paint.Obviously that's the girls room.However the third room needs a password.Who knows ,maybe it's not even a room.

The last destination is the dining room which has flower patterned wallpaper on the walls and the table is really huge.It's a round table with a weird design in the middle of it.Somehow it reminds me of the round table in merlin.

When we get to the living room,to our surprise people are playing XBOX.Some of them are also playing PSP and IPads.

"Where did you guys get all these things?".

"We found it under the TV and in the bedrooms",someone answered.Did the people that kidnap all of us put these tech things here?Why would they do that?

"Why did the people that kidnap us put all these things here?",I asked Dylan.

"I don't know,it's like they're trying to let us treat this place like home,to settle in,you know?".

I literally snort at the mention of 'home' and 'settle in'.

"I doubt that"I said.He just shrugged his shoulders in response.There's no way they are trying to make this as sweet as home.However,even though I continuously kept doubting that strange thought,I still couldn't help but think that it might be true.Oh well,at least we're not gonna be bored.
