Liana Point of View

A few months later I'm out the hospital and at work of being a waitress at a diner. Physically I'm diligent but mentally I'm unable to take my mind away from Michael. His smile plagued my mind as I mindlessly a clean table. "Lee are you alright you've been out of it since this morning." I heard the voice of my best friend Kaylee Miller breaking my thoughts. I jump out of my skin and giggle a little. "I'm alright Kaylee just thinking about something." I lied hesitantly while blushing. "Oh I see the blushing on your face Liana Anne Kirsch. So what's his name and where'd you meet him" she pried with a zany shit eating grin on her face. "Well before I tell you this discussion stays between us ok?" I asked her with a serious look on me face trying to wipe the zany grin on her face. "Ok I won't say a word" She responds knowing I mean business. "Well..." before I continue Ron yells that there are orders in the windows."Freaking prick... we'll finish this talk later." Kaylee groaned a bit wanting to know of how me and Michael met and if we anything. "We're talking about me a Michael on our lunch break I know it." I thought as the regulars shuffle in and we continued or shifts. Then as Ron fell asleep and business became we snuck off across the street to Panera. "So as I was saying before we were so rudely interupted? Whats his name and where did you meet him if your thoughts are on a man." Kaylee pried with a slight giggle in her voice. "Ok ok I'll tell you remember that car wreck I was in the hospital for?" I asked Kaylee nodded I continued explaining. "His name is Michael Jackson." I giggled a little while blushing again. "Well what's he look like?" she excitedly pried again.

"I was getting to that; he has piercing brown eyes, Raven black hair which was really soft. I feel that he is different from other guys." I smiled a bit knowing that he is a vampire king. But there was no was in hell I was going to tell Kaylee that. "I'd get to know him very well first Lee, you remember what happened with..." I cut her off with a face palm. "Ugh... don't remind me that's why I was single for so long." I shuddered at the memory of the terrible break up that insured. "But still I don't see any harm in giving Michael a chance he does seem nice and he said himself he's not like other guys. I had a feeling he was completely honest with me when we talked back at the hospital." I smiled a bit thinking of Michael.

"Let's head back Lee you're starting to sound love sick." Kaylee suggested as we finished our lunch then headed back to work. I thought she was right. But what I didn't know is that Michael was awaiting me at the diner. I returned to work to see Michael at a booth in the corner of the diner. My mouth dropped open a bit and he smiles at me in return. Kaylee pulled me aside to get on task work wise. "So who's the tall cool drink of water sitting in the corner of the room? By telling of the beaming smile he flashed at you, he knows you." Kaylee giggled nudging with an elbow. "Well I..." I stammered while blushing. "Also by telling of the mouth drop when we got back, the stammer just now, and blushing you know him." Kaylee cut off with a giggle.

"Why must you be so observant Kaylee?" I roll my eyes before returning to work. I walk out to Michael in looking as professional as I can. "Hello Miss Kirsch pleasant to see you again." he greeted with a smile. His as white as freshly fallen snow. "Hey Michael since I'm at work I'm supposed to ask what can I get you to drink?" I rambled blushing heavily. "I would like some coffee please." He politely asked. "Of course Michael I'll be back in a moment." I walked away to get him a cup of coffee. "Liana is that the mysterious Michael that you told me about? Nice job!" Kaylee commented with a zany look on her face. "Kaylee sweetheart nothing happened between Michael and me." I giggled pouring coffee I was going to take to Michael. "Yet" Kaylee Muttered I rolled my eyes taking my coffee to Michael. "Herse your coffee Michael, may I get you something else?" I politely asked Michael. "Actually yes I was wondering would you like to go out sometime?" he asked all of a sudden. "Of course I do, since you have been honest with me back at the hospital when we talked." I gladly answered knowing he can be honest with me. "Great when are you available?" Michael asked "I'm available Saturday is that ok? I asked perplexed and intrigued. "Saturday is perfect." Michael smiled.
