Danny's P.O.V
4 months later
It all started with a little girl who came onto my tour bus with her mother. Now she is the daughter of a rockstar with her own guitar and her own little ego. She is the light behind my eyes, the reason for my sobriety and the method behind my madness. I love this girl with everything I have and I'd want nothing more that for her to always love me back.
The weather here is hell, even for me! It is always just a dry heat with no wind or shade. If it is that bad for me then I wonder what it is like for Alex. She doesn't take much. Her tiny body is only used to cold, rainy England. It'll be a miricle if she survives this but I can't afford to move again. Not just yet anyway.
I'm taking her out to the ice-cream parlour today, I want to see how she feels after everything on the tour bus and her mum suddenly going away. She must be going through a lot in her head, she could just be like me and opt to keep everything inside and let it explode when it gets too much. Or she could just be confused, who knows but her right?
I finally get her up and washed and dressed in a black and white owl shirt with some skinny jeans and a 'my daddy is AWESOME!' leather jacket on. I let her get her pink Hello Kitty socks on with some black sparkle high top converse while I made her some breakfast. Toast and chocolate spread, her mum daid it was her favourite so I've made it twice a week for her since I got her. I heard footsteps across the landing and then down the stairs and smiled. Here comes my precious angel I thought, I put her plate on the table with a cup of Apple juice and a napkin... she always asks for one...
Alex thundered into the kitchen and slipped into the chair giggling more and more as she wiggled to get comfy, my dog cowboy folloing close behind, so I called for the other two dogs and fed them all before grabbing my breakfast and sitting down next to Alex at the table.
