You were working at your family's bar that night tending to the needs of the customers when a certain purple-haired man walked in through the door
"Oh god not him.." You thought to yourself
The said man sat down in front of you in a barstool and grinned happily up towards you. You sighed and asked
"The usual?"
He nodded happily
This was King Sinbad. King of Sindria. Yes, the king comes drinking here quite often. You never really worked the night shift until well last night when your sister slipped and hurt her ankle earlier that day
So you were stuck taking her spot while your brother took yours. You fixed up his usual and handed it to him.
"So what are you doing here?" You questioned knowing that he's probably suppose to be elsewhere
"I came to see how your sister was doing of course!"
You stared at him with the 'really you sure?' look.
He sighed and said "Well I mainly came here to see you~"
"You sure you're not just running away from poor Ja'far and your duties?"
He pretended to act hurt in someway and said "Uh me? Uh I'd never do that to Ja'far!"
"Mmhm"
"What? I'm serious!"
"Yeah whatever"
You continued to clean glasses and serve other customers you felt like someone was staring at you. You turned slightly to see a group of drunks staring at you intently.
Sure. This normally happens at night anyways. Well that's what your sister would say. But something about those guys freaked you out to the core.
You walked back to the bar and began to clean some glasses when the one of the drunks wolf-whistled for you to come over, and you being a good hostess you walked on over.
"What's the matter sir?"
"Oh nothing just wanted to take a quick look at your fine body and face"
"Um alright then"
As you began to turn the man grabbed your wrist and pulled you towards him.
He whispered
"Why don't you come home with us? Just for tonight~"
"I-uh-um.."
Before you could fight back you felt a strong pair of arms wrap around your waist. You looked up to see Sinbad staring intently at the drunkards.
"Hey what's s'matter man? You want in on it too?"
"She already promised to spend the night with me"
"Huh?!"
Sinbad whispered in your ear for you to play along. You nodded to him and stated.
"Ah yes! Thank you Sin for reminding me! Now if you gentlemen may please leave because you have had enough drinks for the night."
They sighed and left. You finally breathed and you tuned yourself and slapped Sinbad right on the arm.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!"
"Ow that hurt (Y/n)-chan~"
"Oh don't be a baby! Explain!"
"Oi calm down! Those guys were gonna rape you and you didn't even try to say anything to stop them! So all I did was save you!"
Then there was an awkward silence. You both stared at each other, and you sighed
"Sorry. It's just I didn't know what to do that's all...."
Sinbad looked at you and smiled he pat your head and said
"It's okay."
This is the reason why he came that night
