-Julie-
I woke up to the sound of screaming and some person shaking me like it's the end of the world. "X-Xavier?" I mumbled. "what are you doing here?" I asked. "I came here to buy more tulips, but, as soon as I came in I saw your head and it was bleeding. Then you-.." He said. "I did?" "You collapsed.." He said holding a pack of ice on my forehead. "Thank you" I said smiling. "Anyways, what happened? Not to rush but I just wanted to know." He said. Then it hit me. "I-..smashed my head onto a door by accident. You know trying to get these big boxes of tulips ready for the shop" I said making sure it ACTUALLY sounded like it did happen. He looked shocked. "oh. Jesus Christ are you alright?" He said. "Yeah. I'm fine really." I smiled. "Well, how may I help you?" I said. "Need more tulips.." He said looking down. "Why ya looking down?" I said as I got up to get the tulips. "Wha? N-no reason. I just..do that" he said. Hmm. Somethings not right here. "Xavier?" I said. "Really, just hand me the fucking tulips and I'll leave your shitty tip okay? I don't got all day." He spat.
CRRRRRAAAAACCCK
It hit me again. He hit me with words. I gasped and backed down before backing down and handing him the tulips. "here.." I said slowly. He got his wallet out but I just stopped him. "Just..keep your money. I don't need it" I said turning away. "Look. I'm sorry I said that but I really need to go. I'm heading to the train station." He said. "Yeah, well fuck you" I said. He giggled. "Fuck you too" he grinned. I cracked a small smile. "I'm sorry that I said that, I'm just in a bad mood today" he said looking guilty. "Okay, wherever you're headed off to, don't spit out those words" I joked. He smiled. "I won't. I promise." He said. "See you later." He said before leaving. I'm still suspicious. The way he acted, was strange. I had no choice but to follow him. Anyways Carol told me to run away didn't she? Technically yeah I guess. So I followed him to the train station.
He was walking down the street to the train station which was not too far out from here since we live downtown. I figured he'd recognize and get suspicious too, so I placed my black hoodie on which was tied against my waist. Good thing it was in the middle of Fall. He then went inside the train and I followed him. He sat down and glanced at me. He did a double look but his face softened after and looked at the tulips. He started mumbling something. I couldn't make out what he was saying.
DING.
Shit! He's leaving, time to follow him. Ugh I hope this is worth it. I sneakily walked behind him making sure not to make my footsteps sound like Godzilla's. He then entered a..graveyard!?
Oh god, whoever Xavier lost I felt like crying for him. I hate when people leave this world. I just wished it was me that left so no one would have to worry. He sat down next to a gravestone that read
'Here lies Lindsey Parkson. A mother, a daughter, a wife. 1964- {AN: whatever year you're reading this in}'
God. Is she his..mother? Oh no.
Xavier paused for a brief moment before sitting down next to the stone. He sobbed and
placed the tulips right next to the stone. He then kissed the stone and closed his eyes. "Mom. I-..I miss you so much. Can't you tell!? Mom I can't stand living another second without someone who has been there all my life. Why couldn't you stay with me?! Why couldn't you see me graduate in the future? That was what you've been wanting to see, right? Mom I miss you so much, I just wish you were here. Can't you come back? I'd be happy if you would. Mom, I-..I never got the chance to tell you I loved you. And I've wasted it. I've wasted it all!" He sobbed clenching his fists. "Mom, I never had the chance to said my goodbyes when you just left. I still remember the moment when you left. It's like a horror movie be replayed all over again. Not to be cheesy but, I just really wish I had more chances. More chances to say 'I love you's' and, 'I miss you's'. I-..I just wished. You know?" He said adjusting the tulips while still crying. Oh my god, I felt so bad now. I guess I should've left him, I think I'm invading his privacy or something. "Anyways. Mom, I love you, and I miss you so much" he said before standing up. Oh god he's gonna see me! I just froze and pretended to look down at a gravestone. He glanced at me before wiping his eyes. "J-Julie? What-..were you watching me this whole time!?" He yelled. "Xavier-..I..I" I said drifting off. There was no escape. Shit what am I gonna say now!? "Xavier I'm sorry. I just got suspicious.." I said nervously. "Aren't you supposed to be at your house?" "My..'parents' kicked me out of that place." I said. "Wait, what?" "Nevermind, just don't worry about me." I said before turning my back. "Julie! Wait!"{AN: O God we're getting to the juicy part now aren't we? :D Hope you like this book so far. Hopefully..catch you later on the next chapter!}
